Taking a month off… |
First off, I want to thank Phil Kenny. He pretty much had it pegged when I talked to him the other day in Yahoo Messenger. I am overworked, overstressed, and frankly it’s affecting my well being right now. I have a lot going on in my life (not that I ever don’t have a lot going on in my life)…but, right now it’s at critical mass. If I don’t take some time off where I can relax and recharge my batteries only bad things can happen, and I don’t want that. So, per Phil’s suggestion I am taking a month off. I’m going to go to Ohio and Michigan next week for a family vacation, I’m going to get my kids started in school, I’m going to re-examine some school stuff that I didn’t quite examine well enough while I was taking my first class back to school in over 13 yrs, and I’m going to kick up my feet and read an enjoyable book or watch a favorite TV program or heck I just might do NOTHING for a change.
Anyway, I know that Vic and Mike and Nate and Jeff and the rest are totally capable of keeping this going while I’m gone. They are all very bright people, and only have what’s best in mind when it comes to the site.
