2thepoint I accidentally spammed one of your comments (the one about Meg Whitman) sorry about that.

The server hiccuped again, but we’re back up again. You all are just so energetic tonight. It’s ok though, don’t worry. Carry on please!

I’m going out for a band meeting for my son for an hour. I look forward to seeing more of your comments when I return! GO MITT GO!

Ads

August 14th, 2008 | 14 Comments | Posted in This Site

I got a question about them in the comments section. I had to add them to the site again, my ad revenue had virtually dried up. My company is really suffering right now, so I had to try and make more money. I apologize to those of you who hate them, but it’s absolutely necessary right now.

Thanks,

Ann Marie

Calling All Romney Fans

July 15th, 2008 | 2 Comments | Posted in Mitt Romney, Support, This Site, Volunteering

Hi Again,

Thanks for all the comments on the new site redesign. Keep those comments going on the new look post. The reason I am posting this message is to ask for your help. At one point on this site we had pages that gave more info about Governor Romney, etc. Well, somehow they have disappeared. I would like to recreate more such pages. This is where you come in. I’d like to get pictures from you as well as text for these pages. The information will also be placed on the soon to be created Romney informational site located at http://www.mittromney.ws. So, if you’d be willing to help me out here I will be so thankful.

Email me at pr@electromneyin2008.com if your interested in helping out on this project.

Thank You,

Ann Marie

Questions Questions Questions

July 9th, 2008 | 22 Comments | Posted in This Site

Hello…

I’m back from Florida…my life is still in a whirlwind though, and I’m living my almost always chaotic life as the mother of four special needs children…

I have a few questions to ask though…

  • Do you like this template? When we were trying to fix the site, I changed it to a different one and noticed that someone liked it…I could go back to it, or go to a new one.
  • I have a different domain name (Romney related) that is better than this one…that I could potentially use for this site, or I could start up kinda a “Romney Shrine” type site that is purely information. What do you think I should do?
  • Where do you want to go with this endeavor? I don’t want it to become a McCain lovefest, I want it to continue on about the goals that we’ve had thusfar. But, I’d like others opinions.

I guess that’s it for now. Spill the beans!

Gentle Request

March 1st, 2008 | 3 Comments | Posted in Admin Stuff, This Site

I am still noticing through my stats software than many of you are still coming through to the blog from http://www.electromneyin2008.com (or http://blog.electromneyin2008.com). I’d sincerely from the bottom of my heart appreciate it if you could change your bookmarks to reflect the new address http://www.committedtoromney.com. The reason for this is because I’m thinking of giving the http://www.electromneyin2008.com address to someone else, and while the SEO is great in terms of that. You’re going to eventually not come to the right place when you type it in. Right now the site mirrors to ComMITTed to Romney so that we can keep the SEO, but eventually the Elect Romney in 2008 site will not exist and then you’ll lose all the great information you get here. Also, if you wouldn’t mind letting others know that have the wrong links on their sites as well you’d be a doll.

Thanks, now back to regularly scheduled programming…

About Comments on this Site…

February 23rd, 2008 | 6 Comments | Posted in This Site

Two people have mentioned their comments not showing up on the site. The system works like this, once you’ve been approved with your first comment the rest should go through. Now of course there are exceptions if we were to find a comment that is overtly rude or obscene that would be different and we would take action. If you don’t see your comment right away be patient, it might just take a few minutes to go through. But, there is no effort to moderate people’s comments. We’ve always been open to debate here, and nothing has changed.

Apologies

February 15th, 2008 | 16 Comments | Posted in Ann Marie Curling, Apologies, This Site

I need to apologize to all the visitors here.

Earlier I posted a not so nice message about my feelings for Gov. Mike Huckabee. While I do not agree with his politics, or much else. I was childish in how I handled myself. I let my emotions get the better of me, and that was just not right. I plan to keep better control of my “tongue” in the future, and hope that you’ll accept my apology for my actions.

This site is much above my actions, and I plan to restore it’s image through careful thought in the future before I post something that might inflame!

Once again please accept my sincere apologies.

Ads on this site

February 13th, 2008 | 27 Comments | Posted in This Site

I’ve read a couple of comments of people who haven’t liked the fact that we now have a John McCain ad at the top of the screen. Well, I’ve decided to add a few more ads to the site to begin making some money. Now that Gov. Romney is not running, I need to put some focus back to my company, and adding new ads to this site is one of the ways of doing that. If you have a problem with it, I guess you’re going to continue having a problem with it because I do not plan to change this. I have a few projects that are ongoing that will only further Gov. Romney’s cause in the future, but those projects will cost money to really get off the ground. So, please if any of the ads are of interest to you visit the sponsors.

Thanks,

Ann Marie

Ok, we’re still working on the new banner (having some flash issues), but the new ComMITTed to Romney site is now up and running. To the bloggers of this site please begin using http://www.committedtoromney.com/wp-admin address to log in from now on. The old site is still operable to preserve search engine rankings while the new site begins on it’s own.

An Idea from reader LeEric from Anchorage, AK

Please Respond in the Comments Section:

Ok folks, we need to get some strategy going here. I have an idea, hear me out and then support or shoot full of holes.
I propose that we (Mitt supporters) vote for Huckabee in all of the elections until he is even with McCain in delegates then start switching back an forth working one side higher, then the other. By the time we get all the way through the primaries, they will both be about even at about 150 delegates short of what they need.
Then at the convention, enters Mitt with his 300 delegates (I suspect he’ll still win Idaho before we get this off the ground). This will place him in a position of strength to via for the VP spot. I suspect that McCain (who’s constituency in Arizona is about 20-25% Mormon, and MUCH less biased then Huckabee) will offer Mitt VP to get those 300 delegates.
The next few primaries might have a chance to get a few more delegates for Mitt, but once the polls are not showing Mitt, we’ll need to go with this strategy I am proposing. We watch polls (McCain/Huckabee) just before a election and vote accordingly. Early on, will be easy, in order to catch Huckabee up with McCain, we all vote Huckabee. We need to email everyone we know in the primary state and explain what we are doing.
Once Huckabee is caught up, we’ll need to be careful and be well organized at that time to pull this through.
I want to show the liberal Media, that they screwed with the wrong people, American citizens. That WE are the ones that are empowered here, NOT them.
At the convention, Mitt will get to make the last move. He can either go with us on this or he can simply give delegates to whom he may. There will be other factors for Mitt to consider. It’s is possible that he will not want to be associated with any administration that in turn could taint his name for a bid 4 years later. Perhaps he, as their VP can help get the presidential candidate elected over the democrat nominee. There many be many other factors way beyond our comprehension. But the choice will be Mitt’s to evaluate and make.
We’ll need a central point to gather/focus around, say this website. Round up volunteers to start emailing folks in all up coming primaries.
Folks, could this work? Is an effort like this even legal? Lawyers advise? Will Mitt have sufficient power with his 300 delegates to make this matter? Add your thoughts? Shoot it down?
Until we get organized, everyone Vote Mitt!
