Speaking at the 2009 Annual California Republican Assembly Convention in Bakersfield California, Candidate for California Governor Steve Poizner issued a stern promise dealing with the Illegal Immigration issue in California. “The Federal Government better patrol the borders when I’m Governor. If they don’t, I will send the National Guard to the Border, if I have to I’ll send the CHP to the Border and if that doesn’t work I’ll send the California Republican Assembly to the border”.
