Rasmussen Poll: Romney 45%, Obama 45%

Here come the Peasants with Pitchforks! Rasmussen will release details this morning. I am growing more confident daily that Obama is a one term President and this Rasmussen poll show how strong Gov. Romney is versus Obama.

Let’s continue to work hard to ensure that Gov. Romney has some conservative Pubbies to work with in 2012 by getting some elected in 2010.

RASMUSSEN 2012 poll released at 10:30AM ET

Obama 45% Romney 45%
Obama 48% Palin 42%

No details available at this time on the story below. Not sure what to make of it. I am sure more details will follow. Stay clicked.

Obama to meet Mormon leader

From the no-stone-unturned department: Tomorrow’s schedule says the president will meet Latter-Day Saints Church President Thomas Monson, in the company of Senate Minority Majority Leader Harry Reid, a Mormon.

Obama’s likeliest 2012 foe, Mitt Romney, is a Mormon whose political organization has long drawn support from LDS, but that’s evidently no obstacle.

Great News From Rasmussen Reports

From Rasmussen Reports:

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in Florida shows former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney earning 33% of the vote while Arizona Senator John McCain attracts 27%.

Romney leads 42% to 22% among conservative voters…

Immigration is seen as the top issue by just 12% of Florida’s Likely Republican Primary Voters, but they overwhelmingly favor Romney over McCain by a 63% to 7% margin.

Romney is now seen as the most electable Republican candidate—76% believe he would be at least somewhat likely to win the White House if nominated. Sixty-eight percent (68%) say the same about McCain.

Rasmussen Markets data suggests that McCain has a 44.0% chance of winning in Florida while Romney is given a 56.6% chance.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows a two-man race for the Republican Presidential Nomination. John McCain and Mitt Romney are tied for the lead at 27% and no one else is close.

We are clearly seeing the race become between two men–The conservative choice is Mitt Romney.

Michigan: Romney & McCain Tied

Flag Waving

The latest Rasmussen polls show it a tie right now between Governor Romney and Senator McCain:

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey found Romney with 26% of the vote, McCain with 25%, and Mike Huckabee with 17%. The survey was conducted on Wednesday night, immediately following the New Hampshire Primary.

Hopefully these number incorporate all the underhanded push polling and negative calls coming out of the Huckabee supporters.

Mitt Romney tied for first in South Carolina

From Rasmussen Reports:

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney are tied for the lead in South Carolina’s Republican Presidential Primary. The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey shows both Huckabee and Romney with 23% of the vote followed by John McCain at 12%, Fred Thompson at 12%, and Rudy Giuliani at 11%. Ron Paul is supported by 5%, Tom Tancredo and Duncan Hunter by 1% each, and 12% are undecided.

Two weeks ago, Huckabee held a seven-point lead over Romney and Thompson. A month ago, Romney and Thompson were tied for the top spot and Huckabee was nine points behind in fourth place.

Over the past two weeks, Romney has gained five percentage points while Fred Thompson has lost six. McCain gained three points and nobody else moved more than a point or two.

Nice Commentary on Romney from Douglas Schoen of Rasmussen Reports

November 14th, 2007 | Comments Off | Posted in Analysis, Commentary, and Editorials, Douglas Schoen, Mitt Romney, Rasmussen Reports

As the title states, Douglas Schoen chronicles a compelling case for Mitt Romney. I especially liked this part:

Should Romney win 5 of the first 5 states, or even 4 or the first 5 states the attention he will generate and the support he will win cannot be overestimated.

It is hard to imagine Rudy Guiliani maintaining his support in the large states that come thereafter like Florida, California, and Illinois.

Please discuss in the comments section…
