Mitt Romney Supporters: Lick Your Wounds and Carry on.

Well, it wasn’t the best night for us; however, this is not the end; it is not the beginning of the end; it is simply the end of the beginning. We can all consider what went wrong or what it might mean for us–but self pity will yield no results. We need to continue to believe in the future of this country and the future of this campaign. This is the time to lift each other up and carry on with hope and determination.

So let’s get to it. We have a lot of work to do before New Hampshire. Governor Romney will have a chance before the first in the nation primary to show the American public why he deserves their vote. We need to do all we can to help him out. Let’s raise the standard of the discourse and continue to be positive and motivated to succeed.

Tonight the Democrats rejected identity politics and made Senator Obama the first African American winner of a Presidential Caucus. Despite any political differences we may have, this is a truly remarkable event that we should embrace. The Democrats took a step forward by embracing a person with a message of hope for the future; and in doing so, they made political history.

We need to continue to embrace our candidates message and work to make history ourselves. Now is not the time to lose faith. Each of us needs to press forward until a Romney Presidency is not just the substance of things hoped for–but reality.
