St. Martin’s to Publish Mitt Romney Book

August 9th, 2009 | 17 Comments | Posted in 2012 Election, Mitt Romney, New York Times

Mitt Romney’s long awaited book now has a publishing date: March, 2010. Unlike the books published by some of his rivals on both sides of the isle, I would anticipate that this is not a ghost-written book, but rather the original work of a man with long experience in doing his own heavy lifting.

I know my fellow Mittheads will be lining up at Barnes & Noble and other fine stores to snap Mitt’s book up. Here’s hoping Mitt lands an the New York Times bestseller list.

Mitt Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts and an early likely contender for the 2012 Republican nomination for President, has signed a deal with St. Martin’s Press to publish his book next March.

Titled “No Apology: The Case for American Greatness,” the book outlines what appears to be a campaign platform: Mr. Romney’s views on how to create a stronger economy, military and families, and his vision on jobs, education, health care, energy and citizenship. The manuscript is currently 304 pages.

St. Martin’s did not disclose the terms of the deal, which was negotiated by Sally Richardson, publisher, and Peter Matson, Mr. Romney’s agent at Sterling Lord Literistic.

Sexism from the New York Times

February 24th, 2008 | 7 Comments | Posted in John McCain, New York Times, Sexism

Carol Platt Liebau was the guest host on Hugh Hewitt’s show, and she said something about the New York Time’s attack on John McCain that I haven’t heard anyone else point out. She pointed out that attack on John McCain is very anti-feminist.

According to the New York Times, it is improper for a woman to go on a flight with a man. According to the New York Times, any woman who flies on a plane with a man should be accused of an adulterous relationship.

This kind of thinking is what harms woman in the marketplace. Women are not allowed to go with their coworkers or bosses, to important business meetings, because any woman, who is seen with a man on an airplane, should be assumed to be sleeping with him.

The New York Times, along with the democrats in power today, are not interested in the true principals of liberalism (equality, judging people like Mitt Romney based on their merits). The New York Times is just interested in power. And they will get power, by pretending to be liberal.

Liberals are not liberal. They are some of the most self-righteous, judgmental, arrogant people on this planet. That goes for the New York times, and this attack on McCain is just another example of the role they see for women, and the lengths they will go to, to forward the agenda of people like Hillary and Barak, who will do anything to please the New York Times editorial board.
