She will sit down with Elizabeth Edwards, Michelle Obama, Jeri Thompson, Cindy McCain and Ann Romney for an intensely personal discussion about the effects of politics and the changing roles of women and families. The gathering scheduled for Tuesday is already the buzz of Shriver’s annual Governor’s and First Lady’s Conference on Women at the Long Beach Convention Center, which also will feature Mexico’s first lady Margarita Zavala, wife of President Felipe Calderon. The conference sold out 14,000 seats in record time this year.
