When I first read this, I did a double take because I wasn’t expecting to see what I did. The Connie Mack that I remembered while living in Florida was his father who was a US Senator from FL from 1989-2001.

The Press Release mentioned his son though, Connie Mack IV a member of the US House for District 14 of Florida.
