I am more impressed with Dana Perino as time goes by. She is smart, conservative, obviously very attractive and a little spit-fire who is not to be trifled with. If Dana should decide to throw her hat in the ring and especially if she is pro-life, I’m jumping on her band wagon.

Tags: CBO, Dana PerinoMany Americans, once hopeful that the country could be united by their new president, believe now that he does not include them in his club. This is the collective “we.” We get daily examples of further divisive language; for example, just who was he referring to yesterday when he said let’s go “get them.”. Who’s in his sights? Left undefined, about half the country has to assume he means them.
If we only had state-owned media maybe everyone would be buying that the GOP is the biggest obstacle to the President’s plan. But we still have a relatively thriving free press and lots of ways to get news - and the truth is the Democrats and the CBO were the original obstacles and the administration hasn’t gotten out of its own way over and over again.
I’m not sure how the president can reunite people after this summer of discontent - they’ve squandered their opportunity, and “yes we can” is now, “we most likely will not.”
