The Real Barack Obama: A Horrifying Reality Check

This is, by far, the absolute most shocking video about Barack Hussein Obama I have seen yet. I wish I could have embedded the video here for your convenience, but there was no way to do that for this one (that I could figure out, at least). So click on the link below for a real reality check. [Editors Note From Ann Marie: I was able to get the full embed code that was shown below that Amanda could not find]. Prepare for the worst; you may want to sit down for this. . .

After you’re done watching the clip and you’ve come to your senses (yes, that’s it. . . inhale, exhale–now pick your jaw up off the floor), forward this link to everyone you know–particularly any liberals or moderates who support, or who are even thinking about supporting this man. Too much is at stake. It’s our job to get this information to our fellow Americans since the mainstream media certainly will not. Expose their “teflon candidate?” Their “messiah?”  It’ll just never happen. It’s all up to us now to stop the radical Barack Obama from taking over our great country. We fight on!

Mitt on Hannity and Colmes!

I hope the rumors about GMR being on McCain’s “short list” for Veep are TRUE! This economy needs Mitt SO BADLY. I think having Mitt Romney on the ticket would make the republicans darn-near unbeatable this year. Let’s all hope John McCain’s going to bust out Vice President Mitt Romney as the GOP’s “secret weapon” (that’s not so secret, I guess, since we all are dying to get him on the ticket!). Keep your fingers crossed, VP choices could be unveiled any day now! Enjoy the clips!

Mitt Romney on “Your World”

Mitt’s still a key player in the GOP, and he’s still being as well-spoken and educated as ever on today’s tough issues. Enjoy.

Rep. Ted Poe (R-TX) on “green” light bulbs. . .

June 14th, 2008 | 9 Comments | Posted in America, Energy, Global Warming, Mitt Romney

I couldn’t resist sharing this video; it really is unbelievable.

As an owner of a new home myself, I have seen these new light bulb regulations in action. We have government-regulated “energy-efficient” bulbs in most all the common areas of our brand-new home. When I asked if I could switch out the bulbs for normal ones (the light is very harsh and “classroomy”), I was told the entire fixture was “green.” These new bulbs clip-in instead of the conventional screw-in bulb. The field supervisor explained that they were designed that way so people could not switch them out, even if they wanted to. Well, I figured I was too smart for that. “What if I bring in an electrician to switch out all the can fixtures for conventional ones?” I asked. He told me I would be hard-pressed to find one who would actually do it, because switching these “new” bulbs and fixtures for old ones is officially against the law now. When, oh when, will the government get out of my wallet and out of my life?! Today it’s light bulbs, what’s next?

My favorite line is, “Doesn’t this bother anybody?” Well, Mr. Poe, it bothers me.

A shining example of selflessness and honor. . .

February 7th, 2008 | 14 Comments | Posted in Mitt Romney

What an unselfish man of highest class and dignity. I have to be honest and say that Mitt’s campaign suspension brought tears of sadness to my eyes as I watched as he spoke. My mom, sitting next to me, also was crying and devastated. But because of this man’s example and because of his convictions to stand up for what’s right for us as Americans and for our country as a whole, I feel there is hope.

There are good leaders out there, and I am honored to have fought for who is still, one of the very best. Thanks to Mitt and the entire Romney family for being shining examples of honor and integrity to all of us. Thanks to all the supporters who read this blog–who, on a daily basis, continue to uplift and inspire me to do what’s right. My young family and I are better, stronger, for the fight we’ve fought for this great cause.

How fortunate we all are to have participated in this phenomenal movement. How inspired I feel to keep fighting for true conservative principles and for the heart and soul of the Republican party. And how convicted I am to be the wife, mother, and American I know I personally can and must be–now more than ever before. On behalf of myself, my family, and on behalf of millions of supporters, thank you, Mitt Romney. We are better because of you; we are better because of what you stand for and in being united with you in this great cause.

The new girl. . .

My name is Amanda Earnest, and I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the ranks… of “CoMITTed” supporters on this incredible and most-informative blog! It will be my pleasure to, hopefully, represent other young “generation Y-ers” across America from now through Mitt’s landslide WIN in November!

A bit about me: I’ve been married to my hubby, Mark, for over five years now, and we have two beautiful daughters–3 and 10 months. I am very proud to be a stay-at-home wife to Mark and mother to my children; my family is truly my greatest joy. I have a bachelor’s degree in human development. I also have a baby blanket business from home on the side. We are currently living in Southern California and loving every second of it! Life is good.

As a young mother who has really had to step back and look at the world my girls will be growing up in, I have become increasingly more aware of political issues, and how they affect my life and the lives of my husband and children. I was worried about where this country was going–about where the republican party is going. With Mitt Romney in the race for president, however, I’VE REGAINED ALL HOPE! I feel my family and I are
