Ann Curry attempting a “Chris Matthews” (before guest finishes comments talk over them and talk louder) doesn’t work. It doesn’t work when Chris Matthews does it.
FORMER GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee’s new talk show is set to start this weekend without any fanfare.
“Huckabee” will debut on Fox News Channel tomorrow night at 8 p.m.
The announcement came on Huckabee’s personal Web site - not, as is customary, from the network.
A Fox News spokesperson declined to give any information about the show, referring calls to Huckabee’s agent. Elisabeth Hasselbeck is slated to be the first guest, according to reports.
I still don’t understand why in the world he would ko a cabinet job…his comparison to his dad’s service in the nixon cabinet isn’t relevant in my view…for starters, nixon and his admin = control freaks who thought they knew everything, thus the marching orders + his dad didn’t have a high profile cabinet spot…compare that to if romney is sec of treasury in a mccain admin…i think mccain would give romney a huge leash in that area since it isn’t his expertise or palin’s + the job carries a lot more stature than HUD sec, so romney would have a pretty big influence, isn’t that the point for him running for prez?…Yet, still think the best job for him to land if he wants to run for prez again in UN amb…Bottom line though, if mccain wins romney would need to get himself elected to something, ie sen from utah in 2010 or even congress or take an appointed job…that is if he wants to run for prez again in 2012 or 2016, well it would have to be 2016 since i think it would be pointless to run in 2012 if mccain wins this cycle.

You don’t think McCain will be a control freak?

Mitt Romney doesn’t sound too worried. I don’t want to bail anybody out, myself.
