Poor Chris - bet Mitt sent a “tingle up my leg” much different than the “Messiah” - truth and reality as opposed to hippocricy and deception.
There is no other candidate who can strengthen the McCain ticket more than Mitt Romney - if Senator McCain does not realize that and choose him as VP - then we cannot trust him to do anything good for this country.
I really like Chris Matthews, he always tries to lay it on hard and dig, but mix it with issues that truly matter, but also other issues that bring out the human element. So way to go Chris too. And even better to see Mitt do so well in response. Mitt for VP!!
Chris Matthews really thought he had a “gotcha” question on the house thing. Did you notice how he just brushed over MItt’s answer. He wasn’t happy to be bested by the likes of MItt Romney.
At the end of the interview, shrewd CM tried to be cordial -realizes Mitt is most likely going to be V.P. nominee. Trying to keep his program’s ratings somewhere in the distant sights of FOX.
I noticed that at the end as well 2thePoint. He did brush over Mitt’s answer. Oh well, It was good to see Mitt. He is just fantastic. McCain/Romney 08!

That was great! What a comeback, loved it. Mitt’s way too quick for Matthews.
