At Home With Joe Biden

August 23rd, 2008 Posted in Barack Obama, Democratics, Ego, Joe Biden, VP, Veepstakes

Is that a Presidential Seal that I see in the background on that fireplace?

And John McCain is out of touch with “real” Americans?

Biden is an endearingly silly guy. Unfortunately for Barack, that silliness quality is going to infect the public’s view of Obama too. If only because he chose the silly guy. Also people will then wonder if THEY are being silly to think Barack makes a plausible president.

Baracks teleprompter must have been on the blink. Maybe it is all the yrs of hard drugs.
Maybe there is something about that presidential seal.

Two times couldn’t win the presidency. Poor Hillary, kind of an insult to her. Her baggage was her Bill. However, my heart goes out to her and her supporters. Don’t get me wrong, I am dedicated to our Republicans, esp. Mitt and Ann. I’ll be broken hearted for us and Mitt, if this happens to him. I sooo hope this is God’s plan for Mitt, I am worried. These 8 years has been most difficult, lots are against Bush. We’ll have to work hard for our ticket.

I agree that Hillarys baggage was Bill. But I also dont think Hillary would have been in the position to run for president if it had not been for Bill.
I feel for Hil. But, I am glad Barack didnt pick her for VP.

McCain/Clinton would be an out of the box choice. That would bring the Hill Climbers on board, but would that offset the conservatives that it would drive away? Hillary becoming a Republican (again, she was the president of the College Republicans, remember) would bring the charge of flip/flopper, but I see McCain/Clinton closer to the center and it would be a big draw for the independent voters.

Just rambling out loud. Don’t take it too seriously.

McCain/Romney is so balanced anything else pales in comparison.

That is the seal of the US Senate on the fireplace.

    FYI

Don’t underestimate Biden. He’s acerbic but intelligent (granted not so as much as HE thinks), and Romney will have his work cut out for him if McCain decides to choose him for VP. Romney is a good speaker, light on his feet during a debate–but so is Biden. In sum, I would never vote for Obama, but if I were him, Biden would have been my choice for VP (since Sam Nunn would have said “No”).
