Is Romney being in Denver consistent with being picked for VP? I don’t have a firm answer to this question, and would be interested in others’ thoughts.

  3. Sarah Says:

I don’t know. I just know that I think this is very funny. Go Crash the Democratic convention! That is Brilliant!

I like the in-your-face/relentlessness of it, but how much coverage will such an event get? And will it get covered in kind of s “sour grapes” way? Is it undignified? Yes, in 2008 American campaign politics, I’m still concerned with dignity; especially if Denver turns out to be the total zoo I expect it to be…

(I’m the kind of guy who would ride my road bike near the Denver Convention wearing a Romney or McCain t-shirt–that would feel good ;-)

  5. Tami Says:

I think it’s funny too but we also gotta remember that the republican convention is the following week and paybacks can be brutal sometimes…. I wonder what they will do that week at ours?

  6. Chris Says:

Pawlenty and Rudy will be at the convention in Denver as well. Am I right about that? But, WHERE is Huckabee? He should be there too, instead of dogging Romney, and working his mojo on keeping Romney off th tickets.

    Throw feces and grunt?

  8. bigmo Says:

That was a response to Tami’s question.

  9. Steve Andrew Says:

The Republican ‘convention’ that will happen in conjunction with the Democratic convention in Denver is meant to be seen as a form of civil disobedience - intelligent disagreement by verbal expoundation.

No need to worry, the two parties’ conventions are back to back, not simultaneous.

Can’t believe Huckabee is already angling himself for another run; it really makes him look silly.

  10. Paulee & Mike Says:

That’s because he is silly and ignorant. I’d say more but that wouldn’t be very nice. He just can’t lose, gracefully.
