Massachusetts is experiencing a big jump in health insurance and a big drop in payments for the uninsured under the state’s health care law.

Between Jan. 1 and March 31, the number of people getting health insurance grew from 340,000 to 439,000, according to figures released Tuesday by the Patrick administration.

Thanks Steve for pointing this out. I live here in Massachusetts and am tired of criticisms against Mitt’s healthcare plan. Forbes has rightly pointed out that only a whopping 16% of the people who got insurance were through government programs. Another 44% got PRIVATE insurance and the 40% was subsidized. I guess the mandate of personal responsibilty can actually work. Let’s hope Mitt is the VP and we can turn Massachusetts red in November.

I’ve spoken to many from Mass. and they love Mitt. They say it’s Mccains only chance to win. They say, he ran the state like a business, really? Isn’t that what gov. is????? Mitt is the best choice, he is quality!
