Huck and Obama Sitting In A Tree…

You know the end of the saying…

Apparently Mr. Huckabee is scared of the good ole USA, and feels safer in suicide bombing on a regular basis Israel. Now don’t get me wrong I am a friend of Israel, but Mr. Huck has some serious mental problems if he believes he’s safer there than back here.

He’s like Obama, who doesn’t seem to have much pride in his own country.

    Why am I not surprised?

Anyone else think its a good thing Huck is getting more air time? The more he talks, the more he digs his own grave.

  2. Eric Says:

You know, I noticed after Huck’s shoot Obama comment that the FRC stopped listing him as one of the invited attendees at the Value Voters summit. Mitt is one of the confirmed speakers. I wonder why they don’t advertise about Huck anymore…

  3. Chris Says:

gotta love Romney’s response yesterday with George Steph… Mitt was just not jumping into the one sided huckabee hate fest.

I thought ‘values Voters’ were soley for Huckabee on the ticket and no one else? I’m amused to see Mitt as one of the speakers.

  4. Tami Says:

What and when is the Value Voters Summit?

  5. 2thepoint Says:

    Hi, Tami,

The Values Voter Summit is a political conference sponsored by the Family Research Council, FRC Action (legislative arm of the Family Research Council), Focus on the Family, American Values, Alliance Defense Fund, and High Impact Leadership Coalition.

The VV Summit will take place on September 11-14 in Washington D.C. As mentioned, Mitt is one of the speakers and Huckabee was not invited. On Sept. 13th, one of the topics being discussed in the first break-out session is “”Growing Threats to Religious Freedom.” I hope the attendees recognize and address this topic as it applies to the good ol’ U.S.A. I’m talking about the active and subversive threats posed by radical evangelicals. Expose the hypocrites and initiate CHANGE… If not, the VV Summit will lose credibility.

For a complete list of invited and confirmed speakers, as well as additional info, go to:
    http://www.frcaction.org/index.cfm?c=VVS

  6. Eric Says:

Huck was originally invited though, I remember seeing his name and picture on the list back in May but Mitt wasn’t on there. Interesting how things evolved.

  7. Paulee & Mike Says:

Maybe The Beckett Award helped, I don’t know for sure. Seems it should have, quite an honor. Huck needs to get off Mitt’s case, he’s looking pretty ignorant and sooooooooo jealous! Really does not become a preacher! Mitt and Ann are quality people and take their faith seriously. I admire them and trust them to be so influential in the White House.

  8. Tami Says:

Thank you so much 2thepoint!! :)

  9. Chris Says:

On another thread, someone is claiming that Huck had a prior engagement, and is sending HIS ’surragate’, Chuck Norris.
    What a hoot.

  10. Jon Says:

Keep talking Huck……………….The odds of winning anything in 2012 keep shrinking every time you open that mouth of yours. He just can’t help himself. :) Romney just shrugs him off like fly on his shoulder.

  11. Leslie Says:

I am so upset that when Huck went on the attack that fellow republicans didn’t rally around Mitt. Is it because there really is a large segment who won’t vote for a Mormon?

  12. Karen Says:

I think they perhaps want Huck to implode all by himself which is what he is doing… Wasn’t Mitt just full fo class on Sunday though??? He juse cavalierly went through it like a fly in the air and got right back on task.

Anywat, back to your point Leslie, I think they don’t want to emulate the dems by always bouncing and jumping at everything that comes up. We don’t want to look like them in any way and since Huckabee is just so self destructive, it’s just a matter of time….

Hope you guys don’t mind if I post this here - but I’ve moved the schedule of the Act Cast around a little bit for a few reasons. There will only be two shows over the next three weeks, and both will be on Saturday.

Full details can be found here: http://theactblog.wordpress.com/2008/08/18/special-schedule-for-the-act-cast/

  15. Karen Says:

2thepoint: I like the pix. I was also moved by her comments, they made me feel less alone in this. K

  16. Paulee & Mike Says:

Karen, Here we are again, same place, same station. I’m wired. I just hope we don’t fall apart if Mitt isn’t Mccains pick. Make my coffee, hug my cat, check this site. That’s been my routine for 6 months. i have soooo enjoyed this place to belong. Thanks, all.

  17. Karen Says:

I feel the exact same way. I have developed a routine of checking in here nearly first thing every time I come to my pc or turn on my laptop. Cathartic and healing. My stomach is a mess. I feel like the little girl in “Miracle on 34th Street” “I believe, I believe”

  18. Paulee & Mike Says:

Look at those pictures, then look at Mitt in the corner, the picture of pure and wholesomeness. It’s electric!!!!!I have a tingle, but it’s in my tummy!!!!

  19. Karen Says:

Which pix? Do u mean the ones on this site? Because between chatting, I was at the values voters site and just commenting (to myself because it is 4:22 and I am the only one goofy enough to be up right now!) and was thinking how Mitt is prettier than everyone else. Sean Hannity runs a very close second. There are some really beautiful people on that page if you have not seen it. I kind of wish I could go!

  20. Paulee & Mike Says:

The pix at NY site of Huck, Mitt is in the corner at the top. Haven’t seen the others, you get around, I’m really new at this computor stuff.I’ll check out the value voters site. My hubby just got up, needs coffee, talk soon. It’s been fun, take care, keep chin up!!!!!!

  21. Karen Says:

Thanx, I did notice him there too. the link to the vv site is above on this thread from 2thepoint.

I am going back to sleep for awhile… K

  22. Frank Says:

scoot on over to NRO’s website to vote for Mitt in their online VEEP poll…NOW!

  23. 2thepoint Says:

    LOLLLLLLLLL!

Remember a few days ago (August 12th) when Huckaweasel declared he was going to have a good life “out here” in the private sector and added: “Why would I go back to telling everybody in the world how much money I make?”

Now, Huckafickle speaking to reporters in JERUSALEM yesterday (Aug 19th), says he would CONSIDER (not ACCEPT- consider)the VP offer. Bwa ha ha ha! Talk about eratic flip-flopping!

He then told reporters that his name has been mentioned as a possibility but he doesn’t consider himself a candidate for Veep. Get this – he said IT WOULD BE DISRESPECTFUL TO SUGGEST WHO THE CHOICE WOULD BE. Unbelievable! He’s nuttier than a fruit cake! That’s all he’s been talking about since he dropped out of the primaries – that pretty much anyone BUT Romney would be a good VP pick. Man, o man! There is something deeply, fundamentally, wrong with this guy. I hope Janet has the number of a good therapist…

  24. Paulee & Mike Says:

He’s obviously confused to say the least. He’ll be on Hannity tonight. He’d best not knock Gov. Romney. Let’s be ready to flood Shawn with e-mails. We won’t stand for this, enough out of him!!!!!!

  25. frank Says:

Mitt is still 50 votes behind. Please vote in this very influential poll:
