Two Politicians With Funny Names To Attend Democratic National Convention

Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and Presumptive Democratic Nominee Barack Obama

Mr. Obama has talked about how Mr. McCain would be going after him for his “Funny” name, well, since he finds his name so funny (hehe)…I figured why not call it so, and why not add Mr. Kwame Kilpatrick to the mix too…because guess what? Mr. Kilpatrick of “spent a day in jail time” for violation of his probation is coming too. Isn’t this just so dang exciting all? I can’t wait to see the pictures. I wonder if Mr. Obama has the guts to actually chastise his fellow Democratic leader? We shall see I guess.

The Democratic Gong Show, er, Convention is shaping up to be quite a show. Stop the Press! Oprah and best friend Gayle King are attending. Powell says he won’t be going. Hilary’s delegates will be entering her name into the nomination with speakers and cheerleaders…Will John Edwards be hiding in the bathroom?

And today, while Obama is doing the hula, and munching on macadamia nuts, McCain is out front handling the Georgian/Russian conflict. McCain is showing presidential stature and his command of foreign affairs. McCain always maintained that when he looked into the eyes of Vladimir Putin he saw… KGB!

With our current inflation rate the highest it has been in 17 years, McCain would show command of domestic issues by asking Romney to stand next to him on the podium at the Repub convention.

    M&M!

I wonder if the ‘honorable’ mayor showed Barack around town? Kwame is a complete disgrace…all the shenanigans and such the last few years. What an embarrassment to the people of Michigan. Are these two peas in a pod?

If Mitt has the Dems practically in tears about the possibility of him being the VP candidate, well . . . who better?

Not that we who post here didn’t know that already anyway! :-)

When one checks out the DNC talking points about each of the potential veep picks, Romney comes up very short on neg’s to harp on. the most they can dig up is that he was once a businessman and some of his companies had to lay some people off to keep others working. The others have paragraph after paragraph of talking points.

I wish some of the LDS ‘friends’ of Huck would call him up and chat with him about his lack of leadership amoung his followers.

  5. Jon Says:

Hey, there’s some BREAKING NEWS on CNN. Huckabee slams Romney as VP!! Wow, when will these idiots get a clue? Huckabee has been slamming Romney every chance he’s had since Iowa. Are they that dumb or are they counting on us to be even dumber? This is not news, this is Huckabee doing everything he can to stay in the limelight and drag down a legitimate leader. I wish he would just go away.

  6. Marybeth Says:

Yeah, I saw that with Huck. He just doesn’t come across as a nice person AT ALL . . . more like a person with a huge obsession. It’s not one bit classy, IMHO.

Read these comments on Huck’s tirade over at Hot Air:

Probably running 10-1 against Huck and/or in favor of Mitt.
