Paris Hilton responds. Really.

Obama spokesman Bill Burton reacts: “Whatever.”
McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds emails: “It sounds like Paris Hilton supports John McCain’s ‘all of the above’ approach to America’s energy crisis - including both alternatives and drilling. Paris Hilton might not be as big a celebrity as Barack Obama, but she obviously has a better energy plan.”

This video speaks for itself as a remeder of what kind of person she is. It won’t turn a single person against McCain.

She needs to learn how to speak first. Is she an actress???? It puts new meaning to the word “pretend” hum…..

I agree Aaron, it will only serve to remind people of her and her own agenda… it was just so silly. I don’t even know if she is capable of an agenda… argh!
There was a part, right in the middle where she actually sounded cogent, but it didn’t last very long and I am not thinking it is going to sway anyone.
This thing is like pop star against experience… good grief! ditsy…

Okay people…I actually though this was funny. Why can’t we all for once just realize she is a young celebrity that probably hasn’t gone the way of Brittney Spears yet because of her rich parents. They don’t want a bad image on their name.
Remember that this was supposed to be funny and just laugh. Try to find the humor in the stupidity.
Maybe its because I am young. The only thing I didn’t think was so funny was the way she was dressed. She needs to get herself some self-respect.

Paris Hilton? Such wonderful role model for my daughters! (NOT!!). She has no talent other than shopping and partyhing. And she dresses like she’s ‘open for business.’ Such a outstanding role model. I and grateful I am NOT her mother!

do you think she even realizes that “her energy plan” is actually MCCAIN’S energy plan?! and the plan of republicans in general? mccain wants to invest in new technologies, in conjunction with offshore drilling. we all do! for her to call it “her plan,” as if no one has proposed this as of late, is so embarrassing for her. poor paris. at least she tried; i guess we can hand it to her for that.

I thought I heard she made a bad video tape. I think most the nation is aware of that. NOT FUNNY FOR ME.

I was suprised to see her stringing more than 3 words together without foul language, or reference to sex. But then again, she was in a bathing suit.
And we wonder why our country if failing, when we have examples of families like the Hiltons.

I liked it. I think that it was well deserved, I mean, if McCain wanted to mock her and she wasn’t even involved in politics she should be able to mock back. Obviously somebody else wrote the script for her, but the energy policy is sensible and further educates Americans about the virtues of drilling and tech developments. When was the last time you heard some young starlet advocate anything sensible?
August 6th, 2008 at 12:49 pm
Anything sensible and selling her body and looking out for her career at the same time. Even the devil can teach truth, heck he knows the Bible and the Book Of Mormon, better than any of us. It does not matter to me, these peole are corrupt, staight up. PHONY

August 6th, 2008 at 1:21 pm
Oh, PS.. about the whole role model thing.. I’m a model. Not a role model. I never said I wanted to be one. I can’t help it if everyone wants to be me!
August 6th, 2008 at 7:33 pm
I thought it was well delivered and funny. Don’t take it too seriously. It’s supposed to be taken lightly.
August 6th, 2008 at 7:52 pm
I dont’ take it serously! I just hope the voters don’t either and get upset that she’s really NOT on the ballot! I mean, they were fooled by Obama…. shows they are easily led.

Okay I liked the Paris Hilton video. I think it was a very effective ad and if things don’t start improving, she may get my vote.
