ComMITTed Lunch at Morelia’s

August 1st, 2008 Posted in Mitt Romney

At noon today a few of us ComMITTed to Romney fans got together for lunch at Morelia’s Mexican Restaurant in Murray, UT. It was quite fun as none of us had never met before but, of course, we had an instant bond as Romney supporters. The waitress was quite surprised when we told her that we were all strangers and had never met before.

To the far right is Chris, who stopped in on her way to Vernal (she’s from Syracuse). Next to her are Karen (KKSM) and her husband Ron. Second from the left is Erin, who is working on the team that will soon bring to theater “Article IV - the Movie”. And the fellow with the fading hairline on the left is me.

To Chris, Karen, Ron and Erin, is was great to meet you all and I had such a great time learning about you, and basically learning about the lives of other Romney fanatics out there who are just like me. Keep up the good work. And thanks Karen for planning this little get together.

Great to have a face with a name. I’ll be going to Mexico in the upcoming week so maybe you can photoshop me in? Along with Ann Marie and John Cronin!

I was wondering if someone can help me. Ther’s a site called http://www.flapsblog.com. I’ve been pounding away Romney over there, making the case agaist some and for Romney. I not sure how much people actually go there, but that’s were I ended up. There’s been some extreme hate towards Romney, but he might be seeing the light. He has said he probably won’t vote if Romneys on the ticket, as well as promoted the Washington Times Artice. I just went there and rather than fire back he said” Looks like Mitts stock has risen since Monday” and then asked me “where is he on intade”? I don’t know if was being sarcastic, I don’t know what intrade is, could somebody tell me and possibly respond to him. On the right collum of his page, there are comments you have to click on. on the left click ‘politics’, then ‘2008 US election’

then on the right click ‘2008 Republican VP nominee”

It’s an online trading thing where people buy and sell stock on certain events. It has been known in the past to be highly accurate in predicting winners of elections, etc.

  6. Paulee & Mike Says:

Thanks, Nate! Looks good for , Mitt. This wait is killing us!

Extremely, extrmely, very good article on Romneys Health Care deal. Seattle Times! It does’nt look like the Dems will be able to use this as an issue against Romney. It’s very good news. Post it on this site, as I’m sure someone will. AARON

HELP!!!!!!!!! Just saw Obama speak on economy from Florida!
Caption at the base came across screen Huck’s supporters warn Mccain not to take Mitt, he is a Mormon, we have FREEDOM OF RELIGION in this country, he won the Beckett Award, they don’t trust him on abortion and same sex marriage. What can we do???? Huck is now an employee at Fox, that’s awful!! I knew he was not going to give up. He is a terrible human being. He better not take Huck either, if not Mitt. I was so sure it would come down to this garbage Okay, do we express our feelings to Fox, Mccain, rnc, cpac, ?????? I’m angry , Fox should not have hired him, considering he may still be in the running for VEEP. He’s obsessed, jealous, mean spirited, not at all a Christian!!!!!!!I’ll write in Mitt, let them all go kill each other floundering! Mitt was the only one in the primaries that talked the economy, Washington was broken etc. not Huck or Mccain!!!It will be a cold day in heck, I’ll never vote for Huck, Fox fixed his teeth nice though!!!!!Just like the followers of Obama, another user! GIMME,GIMME,GIMME! Go to Work, get off your anal butts!!!!! Romney’s lucky, spelled WORK!!!!!!!!!
    I’m really angry, folks.

  9. Aaron Says:

I will not vote for a ticket that has benefitted from antimormon the entire way. This is killing me!

    Paulee and Mike

Huckabee can go a long way by telling his ‘army’ that LDS aRE indeed, Christian, and voting for a qualified Mormon is just fine, as he intendes to do just that if Mitt is picked for Veep. But he won’t. He has too much hate in his heart.

I guess your a better ‘Christian’ if you hate Mormons.

  11. Chris Says:

And one more thing. Mac hates to be told what to do! History shows that if you pressure him into something, he does exactly the opposite! So, this could be a good sign!

  12. Aaron Says:

Indeed, Indeed. Everything is way to lined up for Mitt. In my opinion it’s bizaar. I think it’s the Lord, but I don’t want to be a zilion percent sure on that. It just seems far beyond coincedence to me.

    The Romney “Glow”

You guys have definitely got the Romney “glow” goin’ on! (And a good lunch doesn’t hurt, right?!)

Nate, Erin, Karen & Ron, and Chris - great to see ya! Enjoy reading all your comments here at comMITTEd.

  14. Nate Gunderson Says:

Hmmm. That glow may just be the bright sunlight reflecting off the table in front of us.

  15. JA Says:

Great picture! Glad you all had a good time.

As for me, I don’t have the “Romney glow” these days, I have the “Romney jitters”! Waiting for McCain to let us know which way he’s going with the VP pick is nerve-wracking!

  16. Jeanne Says:

Don’t know if anyone saw ole Huckster on Hannity last week, boy is he back tracking his statements. He says he never critized Mitt’s religion and he now thinks he would be a great choice for McCain!!! The good Lord is gonna get cha Huck!! Christian…..my butt!!!
