The Jeff Beatty Quarterly Report July 2008

Although Jeff Beatty acknowledged from the very start of his campaign that it would be “an uphill battle” to unseat 6 term incumbent John Kerry from the US Senate, his campaign has made jaw-dropping progress in the last several months.

A lot has been going on with the campaign these past months, so to make sure everyone is up to date we’ve released our second quarter report, the text of which follows. Please forward this to anyone who may have missed it, and take a moment to sign the petition to retire John Kerry from the US Senate.

Summary
The campaign is exactly where we want to be and, because of the hard and tireless work of people around the Commonwealth, Jeff Beatty is now the Republican nominee for US Senate.

Jeff Beatty’s goal is simple: serve the citizens of Massachusetts and restore leadership that cares about the people to the junior senate seat in Massachusetts.

Beatty has raised almost a $1.25 million dollars from over 35 thousand individual contributions and has over 3 thousand grassroots volunteers ready to do the work needed to “replace John Kerry with one of us” this November.

Jeff Beatty is now sharing his vision at events, fundraisers and with media appearances around the Commonwealth.

What has Jeff Beatty’s campaign done to date and what is the winning strategy?

The campaign met or exceeded all its milestones in the exploratory phase in 2007.

* $700,000 raised

* 20,000 individual donations

* 500 volunteers

The campaign EXCEEDED its goals for the first half of 2008.

* Be the presumptive Republican Senate nominee – WE ARE THE NOMINEE

* $1,200,000 raised (we exceeded that by several thousand dollars)

* 30,000 individual donations (actual was in excess of 33,000)

* 1,000 volunteers (we exceeded that by nearly 100)

The campaign goals set for 3rd quarter 2008:

* $2,000,000 raised

* 50,000 individual donations

* 3,000 volunteers
