New Look

    I like it. I’m a bit too anal but,

    I think the categories should be taken off.

    Some color should be added to the top banner.

    Maybe a logo?

    Wow, this is different than just a while ago and it loaded much faster. That is a plus. I miss the pix of Mitt though.

    Thanks for all of our opinions. For now, we are going to stay simple. I like the fast loading. We’ll change things around as time goes on. I’ll also work on a logo of some sort, but it’s not going to be perfect yet.

    I like the streamlined look. A la Drudge. It loads a lot faster which really can’t be said enough. That’s a very good thing. I like it how it is. I wouldn’t get crazy with pictures. I just tried it on my cell phone and it loaded super quickly. That’s where I read you half the time so I’m excited.

    I think it looks better with the top bar black instead of how it was this morning. Nice job! I appreciate the simplicity and especially the quick-loading. However I can also understand how some people prefer the fancier look. Off-topic, but I never could get that Obama video to play.

    You can take off the ‘tags’ section because their is a search feature on the right - hand side.

    I really like it, it’s really nice. Kudos to you Ann ;)

    Well, the one thing I like about the tags is Mitt’s name is bigger than McCain and Obama…a teeny tiny Huckabee would top if off nicely.

    Hope you don’t mind my saying so, AM, but I don’t like it. When I click on the site, I get only the most recent post, and I have to click on that post to get to any others. Why is that? It’s probably just me.

    You need to just scroll like normal to get to all of the posts, and if you want older ones you need to click the older posts button at the bottom of the last post on the page. The posts/comments/archives tabs are for the latest posts making it easier to get to each individual ones.

    Oh my!! Well, when I first clicked this morning it was a pleasant surprise but now it’s a mess. I’m sorry but for me it is. If you want me to email you a screen cap of what I see, I’d be happy to. Everything is stacked on top of each other.. columns on top of columns and links/text on top of links and text.

    Then I click on the headline to the main post barely showing and then it looks great after that… but oy, the first page I come to is weird. Maybe it’s just my pc?!?!

    If you need help with a logo/banner, just let me know. I’d be happpy to help. I am a graphic artist… mostly draw cute and whimsical web graphics but I can do regular stuff as well.

    It looks fine to me Tami, but I have been having occasional issues today where I click to the comments section and it loads agonizingly slowly or even once or twice not at all.

    Much better and nicer today. The only improvement I can see or think of is to make the font bigger. It is small and trying to make it larger on my comp did NOT work. Other than that, it is just so nice. I like it. KKSM

    Try this:

    Hold the [Ctrl] + [V] while moving the little wheel on your mouse up.

    I don’t know if it’ll work, since I have Firefox.

    I love the new site redesign. I like the tags on the right-side rather than on the bottom making the page 4X larger than it should be.

    A different header would probably be a good idea, with some images and such. But I really do like it thus far.
