Mitt Romney Speaks Out On Obama’s “Frightening Naivete”
If we had pursued Obama’s advise to treat global Jihad as a law enforcement matter and had issued a subpoena for Osama Bin Laden to give a deposition to a U.S. Court concerning his possible involvement in the the destruction of the World Trade Center towers, I just wonder if we could have heard him laughing at us from atop whatever mountaintop cave he has been hiding in?

Barack Obama’s approach to the war on terror shows “frightening naiveté,” says Mitt Romney.
“Even the peaceniks of the last decade have recognized that the pre-911 thinking of the early 1990s was wrong,” Romney says. “The great majority of those who opposed the conflict in Iraq nevertheless recognize that it is a war against a radical, violent Islam. But Barack is one of the few who has still refused to speak out against radical violent Islam and jihadism.”
To suggest, as Obama has, that the way to deal with terrorists is to prosecute them “bespeaks a remarkable lack of understandingat which we face,” Romney says.

I hope he continues this kind of talk. It is beneficial in letting the American people know what [some of] their hero is all about. He is just so misdirected. I hope McCain will pick a running mate soon so i can know if I am going to work or not. I heard Huckabee hannity and Colmes tonight for about 5 seconds and he made me happy when in response to Colmes digging about him being considered for the vp slot that he didn’t think it was him because they have asked for no documents or sent a questionaire or anything. I said “ah shucks” as my husband changed the station.

Romney also said they had not been in contact with him. I think maybe McCain thinks he can pull this off without Romney. Obama’s image is taking a hit and he is moving center and offending his base. It has made me think Mac may pull this one off and he may feel more confident to select anyone but Mitt. I heard Zogby and Rassmussen say that they thought Charlie Crist would help McCain and give him FL and possibly help him in NC and SC. Hannity ask about Michigan and Mitt but they thought Mitt would not be much help in the south. If McCain does not select Romney I will be very disappointed but comfortable in knowing that Romney has made a good name for himself in the Republican party.

Spoken so well! They just do not get it, do they? This is their holy war, the destruction of the US and her people. So we must stop them, pre-empt them. We cannot wait until they strike so that we can merely prosecute and punish. We are not safe by treating terrorists like criminals; that is, only responding after the assault. Something has to be done to stop them before they carry out their horrible mayhem.
