Let’s keep pushing Mitt for VP

I miss Tim Russert. I didn’t realize how much until just now.
Romney won MSNBC’s nice little “Veep-stakes”. They’ve been plugging it from their front page every week for 6 weeks now. Now that its over, is there any sort of announcement of “oh, here’s who our readers picked”? Not a chance. No story, they just relegate the app back to the sidebar of the Decision ‘08 page with a small note saying “Oh, they picked Mitt” and a video commentary that you can’t play at the office (or home if your wife thinks you’re paying bills).
And the brilliant commentary we get from Chuck Todd? Rehash of the same reasons why Mitt’s not a good choice — gee they don’t like each other.
Plus their new things: McCain-Romney would be just like Kerry-Edwards. KERRY-EDWARDS! I think that’s the worst insult I’ve ever heard aimed at Romney, to be compared to that vain, lawsuit happy, hypocritical “I’m fighting for you” Edwards. Oh but they’re not exactly the same. Edwards, according to these guys is a better campaigner because, wait for it, he stayed on message all through the campaign!
Now, my dear empty headed media guys, that truly is a flip-flop of biblical proportions.
Do they say anything good about our guy? In the last 2 seconds they mention he can raise money and might help a bit in one state (Michigan). All in all, Mr Todd spent more time discussing Mayonnaise jars than speculating why a majority of their participants might have picked Romney.
Yes, I miss Tim Russert.

Mitt needs our help in this poll. http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2008042301_vpcaucus.html
We can’t let Huckabee squash everyone. Vote and pass on the link to a friend.

boy, it just goes to illustrate how the media what what they want and nothing else… they are so bent on Obama that they will never be able to see the light. yuck.. if the media got to decide it, you sure know how it would go don’t you. Yeah, I miss Tim too…. sad… KKSM

Well, I went to the poll and voted. I sent it to alot of people as well. I am not too worried about it though. As a demo of how liberal they all are, the dems are voting for Hillary! That ought to show you something!!!!

mitt’s the MAN! of course he won =). maybe i DO have a little faith left in the fact that americans can think for themselves (with no help from the liberal, lunatic media) and see that the best VP choice is romney. if mccain picks romney, i’ll have a sign in my yard, a sticker on my car, and i might just donate money to the camp. only time will tell. . .

KKSM: Your sharp! You and I were missing Renna. Where is Rusty, now?????
Renna: What do you think about Mitt’s mailer asking for money for McCain ? It’s hard to refuse Mitt? Do you stand by your No Mitt, slogan? I hate that article by the Seattle Times, yuk!!!!! All about religion , again!!!! As for the MSNBC poll, it was David Gregory
that spoke best about Romney, who is that other munchkin? Sorry, he was not fair! Write in to Todd and tell him we did not like the coverage of the outcome! However, I heard Mitt is winning most polls, now. That’s because, IT”S THE ECONOMY, STUPID’S!!! Who started that comment, I love it!!!! Mitt’s confidence level seems very high. I think he is in his element. At least he doesn’t nap or hesitate and stammer at every answer he is asked. This is a test. Who naps? Who stammers? Just another observation. I think the person who handles the highest office in the land should be our very best prospect out here.

I have been asking where Rusty is for weeks now. No one says anything each time I ask. I also want to know what is to become of the petition that Rusty started some time ago. It was still there a couple of days ago. It is just about time to submit it to my way of thinking. If someone presented that with a copy of every poll that Mitt has won to McCain, what do you think would happen….????
I completely agree with you Paulee. Neither Obama or McCain blows my socks off at the mic, neither can hold a candle to Mitt. I watched him on Hannity. The only hedging I saw was when the VP thing came up and I think that whole conversation must be so intimidating at this stage… and Sean is relentless! He could get nothing out of Mitt’s poker face though….

Hey guys, forward that poll to more friends, Mitt is only down 7 points from Huckabee.

Paulee:
James Carville created that saying while on the Clinton campaign.
