Mitt on Hannity and Colmes!

I hope the rumors about GMR being on McCain’s “short list” for Veep are TRUE! This economy needs Mitt SO BADLY. I think having Mitt Romney on the ticket would make the republicans darn-near unbeatable this year. Let’s all hope John McCain’s going to bust out Vice President Mitt Romney as the GOP’s “secret weapon” (that’s not so secret, I guess, since we all are dying to get him on the ticket!). Keep your fingers crossed, VP choices could be unveiled any day now! Enjoy the clips!

Saw Mitt on Hannity last night and he didn’t say he wasn’t on the list! This was about as far as Hannity could get on the VP Q’s. McCain should pick him now! No need to wait for the convention. McCain is not a good campaigner or speaker and he needs something to happen soon. Picking Romney now would energize the base(Conservatives)and Mitt could be McCain’s official attack ‘dog’ and McCain could retain his nice guy image at the same time. Who better than Mitt to go after Obama for his latest ASININE statement he made yesterday “American’s NEED to make sure their children can speak Spanish!” Mitt would be all over this one for sure!!

Wolfagain - Wow, I didn’t know Obama said that about Spanish. What a ridiculous proposition!! I’m outraged! Do you have details when he said it or a link? I’ll look on my own too.
On a good note, congrats everyone on Romney winning the MSNBC Veepstakes polls! He beat Colin Powell in the final round - woohoo! Just goes to show how much support there is for Gov Romney, and how well he and his positions on the issues resonates with the public. Way to go!

Found a link with the outrageous Obama statement on forcing our children to speak Spanish: http://lonewacko.com/blog/archives/007811.html
This is an outrage! I am a white American and I speak an Asian language fluently so I understand first-hand the value and importance of knowing a FOREIGN language, but that doesn’t mean I want to transform this blessed country of the USA into speaking a foreign language. Looks like Obama’s plan is to exacerbate the problem instead of fix it.
Lets get back to common sense Obama - this is America, we speak English, all other languages are foreign, and living in this country means we have the right to choose to speak a foreign language or not. We Americans don’t need some pandering politician to tell us what foreign language our children will grow up speaking.

Joe, I know you does not intend any offense, but there are another “native” languages, like American Sign Language (ASL) and Navajo, to name a few. But yeah, English is, and should remain, the main language for general public, business and government interactions in the country.

The amazing thing is - Obama does not speak Spanish - and oh, by the way, we need to focus on getting Americans to speak English well before they learn a foreign language. I am so sick of watching and hearing the arrogant and egotistical rantings of this inexperienced and poorly informed individual. He attacks and criticizes this country and its hard working people every day. My stomach turns to know how many Americans actually believe him - such a testimony to the outcome of our public education system.

Hurried home to catch H&C last night and was not disappointed. Mitt was on for two segments which was a nice treat. He had a chance to discuss more issues and was forthright about Obama being such a weak candidate. “Its unthinkable!” he said that Americans would elect to the presidency, the leader of the free world, a guy who has never had to lead anything. I loved it! And he looked great too–the picture of health! I love it that he looks so good. Those who say he is TOO perfect are just jealous because there is no such thing. I think it helps us envision him as a leader of nations, an emissary and diplomat, a man in high office who is a good role model. Like Reagan, who dressed the part and also had perfect hair. Then too, Reagan and Romney both have immense respect for the office and accord it the dignity it merits.

SGS - yes of course on the other native languages.
Renna - right on! Guess who speaks more Spanish than Obama? President Bush! How hypocritical of Obama to tell people that their kids “need” to speak Spanish when he doesn’t even speak it. Sheesh.
Gov Romney did an excellent job wth that interview!

The forces and sources (Soros’) behind Mr. Obama have so unfairly and inaccurately maligned Pres. George W. Bush via the mainstream media that they have acheived a measure of political ground. This has given them confidence that this year is their presidential year! I think they are over confident. I feel they have this young inexperienced Obama and they MUST calculate that THEY can help him (control him) govern, that his lack of EXPERIENCE portends his needing to lean on them. So, they take a “calculated risk” with someone from a pool of inexperienced politicans and will be his Daddy. They can taste and salvate the control and enfluence they will wield. They are blinded by their own thirst for power! As they weigh all things they think they know there are enough dumbed down and weak minded Americans they can rely on to Vote for the FAD candidate. I believe Mitt Romney has the smarts to lay into a very, very vulnerable Barry Obama. I believe Newt Gingrich will ignite enough republican congressmen and women about the oil pains Americans struggle with. Obama’s “loosing coatails” will impact congressional elections too.
