Campaign Donations Pouring in to Jason Chaffetz Since He Almost Defeated Cannon at Utah Republican Convention
Open borders Congressman Chris Cannon’s campaign is almost out of money and Jason Chaffetz, although having been outspent 6 to 1 by the Cannon campaign, has seen his fund raising totals surge since he almost defeated Cannon in the Utah Republican convention back in May of this year.
FEC reports show Cannon down to his last $10,000, while Jason Chaffetz’ campaign has $65,000 to spend with less than two weeks left before the June 24 primary.
Go, Jason, Go!!

The Salt Lake Tribune reports that Utah Republican Rep. Chris Cannon “has easily outraised challenger Jason Chaffetz, but the six-term incumbent congressman has less than $10,000 to carry him down the home stretch of the primary election race.” According to the newspaper, the Cannon campaign says it has raised $70,000 since the June 4 cut off for the report to the Federal Elections Commission. “Campaign reports from the two candidates show that Cannon has burned through nearly $662,000 during his re-election bid, compared with Chaffetz’ $98,664,” the Tribune reports. But Chaffetz “had $65,165 left in his campaign account, while Cannon has just $9,259 left, according to pre-primary reports filed Thursday by the candidates.”

Good news on Mr. Chaffetz. May he unseat OPEN BORDERS Cannon and may the same fate befall all open borders elected officials!
Knocking down the open borders/illegal immigration hornet’s nest is right up there with those other pesky American conundrums, such as: successfully concluding the Iraqi war ASAP, regaining our economic footing, and becoming energy independent. Of the latter, I marvel at why we Americans, who have prided ourselves on our INDEPENDENCE since Lexington and Concord, continue to allow the far-left to prostrate our nation before the sandaled feet of middle-eastern kings and tyrants?
