Surge To Victory

War On Terror: They said the surge would fail. They claimed we had no allies. They called Iraq a quagmire. They sought to cut and run. Now, our victories over terror are accelerating across the world.
I love this quote from the end of the article: IT’S A BAD TIME TO BE A TERRORIST.

Wow,
Thanks for the link, John.
Make sure you all read this article about the “surge” to victory. We don’t hear these accomplishments touted enough, particularly in a presidential election year where the “other” party has to nitpick about everything that’s “wrong” with our country so they can “change” it. Add to the mix a complicit mainstream media that’s especially motivated to aid their cause and we are left with deafening silence when something goes well.
So here’s my joke of the day (more of a riddle, actually):
If a Democrat is walking alone in the woods (in Pakistan), and a tree falls (and happens to kill Osama Bin Laden, who is also out for a turn from his mountain hideout), will anyone hear (about) it?
Of course when you are truly skilled, like Obama, you can emphasize both the positive and negative in the same breath:
“My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you’ll join with me as we try to change it”. Barack Obama.
Fortunately for us, we don’t buy that brand of snake oil no matter how charming the peddler.
Nice try, next…
