Governor Romney couldn’t make the event on time because his plane was weather delayed and he still managed to raise a cool $2,000,000.

The tally from last night’s fundraiser at the Oakland, Co., Michigan mansion of Compuwere CEO Peter Karmanos: $2 million. Much of it will be sent to the RNC and to state parties.
400 people attended, including McCain advisers Charlie Black and Tom Loeffler and eBay’s Meg Whitman and Mitt Romney’s national finance chair, John Rakolta.
Romney was there, too. Scott, not Mitt.
Mitt was supposed to be there, but his plane from Boston was delayed because of weather.

He is just so capable. I happened to be flipping channels and saw Mitt talking with Wolf Blitzer. I want to tell you he is on his game, Mccain is one lucky man. Obama
was making remarks such as , where is Mitt now? Mitt was saying the same things
about mccain that he now is saying about me, Mitt handled every comment so easily.
He was really able to dot the i’s and cross the t’s. He even laughed at himself, saying
the people chose Mccain. Not defensive, not petty, he was sincere and confident. I thought
to myself, as well as he speaks, how he sees the glass half full attitude, how quick
he is on his feet, just amazing. He would be great at RNC Chairman. I’m torn, VP
or RNC chairman??????Tonight The Romney’s Shine, Let the light and blessings be all
theirs tonight!!!!!!! God Bless!!! Mitt Romney is just fine, Obama!!
