I am proud of Mitt for getting this award. His talk was one of the best I have ever heard. It didn’t take the media long to tear it apart. It is pretty sad that they are so spiritually defunct that they could not get the gist of that message. Says alot about them… I have never seen him not be eloquent! It is true, think about it. However, his “Religion in America” was one of his best. Inspiring and edifying.

What can I say more. America as a whole is not often outright wise…. KKSM

I hope Ann Romney has the opportunity to serve our nation as First Lady one day. In the meantime, I don’t think she’d mind helping our country from the VP’s residence at the Naval Observatory in the District of Columbia - as long as she could get away once in awhile to ride her beloved horses!

Back to the Canterbury Award for the Romneys - hope this receives national press attention. We should all take the time to email the news outlets (network TV, newspapers, blog sites) that this is worthy of air time and print space!

them over there, they are vicious!!!! Be prepared for a landslide of Huck data. I”m needling them, just because they are so mean and I won’t report the wonderful
evening we had with Mitt because they say they were sick of my gloating. However, I
told them Mccain’s going left, it was said on the news. Asked how Huck would fit now
since he so much more conservative than Mitt, according to them! The notty in me, opps! Shame on me! It was fun though.

Mitt and Ann, you’ve deflected the “fiery darts” of bigotry with patience, grace, good works, and humor. You are examples of how we should act if we should face similar circumstances. You stand as a stark reminder that ultimately bigotry injures bigots. Just as the door of opportunity and enlightenment begins to creak open, bigots slam it shut. Consequently, prejudicial persecutors remain in a dark prison of their own making, controlled by fear.
