I left a more detailed post note at Romney confirmed speaker. I must say this to you as well. If you've heard his Derick, the skater story from the olympics, you know how emotional you felt. Well, as he told the story, you could have heard a pin drop!Mitt picked Derick, who won a silver, and then a gold as one of the people to carry in the flag, torn and battered, from the World Trade Center. As the band played their patriotic song, at the last verse, a gentle wind came just under and lifted the flag ever so gently, as if to say, everyone that sacrificed for this wonderful country had a presense. As I glanced the room, many were tearful, and visibly emotional. I get goosebumps, I have heard this story before, it is so American, and what we are all about. Mitt was on his game last night, he owned that room!!!!!! He spoke about the issues war, economy, gas prices, trade issues, all that we have heard him say. He said we must unite behind Mccain. He made it perfectly clear, we do not want Clinton or Obama, stating up go the taxes. He spent alittle time on Health care. I'm telling you, you'd of thought a rock star came into our room!!!!!!! At one point, he had to motion us to sit, so he could speak. He was so thankful, just a sweet person. His heart is made of gold. Ann and Mitt have 11 grandchildren, 3 more on the way! I can not imagine him not being the NUMBER 1 choice for Mccain!! He'd have to be blind and deaf not to get the values and charisma of Mitt Romney!!! Any questions, that could jog my memory. Fabulous experience, they did video. I'm trying still to find out if this can be available. The Nevada one we saw, how did that come about, anyone know???? I'd love to have you see him in action.
