Veepstakes speculation: Mitt Romney at the top of the list

I don’t put much stock in Bob Novak’s rumors…his hit rate is probably no better than 50/50. With that caveat, click over to see what the rumor mill has to say.

Novak said before that the McCain campers did not like Romney because of the Bigot baggage. Perhaps that is still true but Novak dismissed the idea as an impossibility. I guess he changed his mind. It is funny how members of the press can change their minds but they persecute politicians who do. I have been so put out MSM and I have practically stopped watching Fox News. All that aside…
This is hopeful news and I remember thinking that the economy might be the very thing that would make McCain choose Romney. Of course, Karl Rove is a very smart strategist and he is recommending a M&M ticket. I would think that would be reason enough to select Romney.

Was it him that was betting on Portman the other day or was that someone else.
You are right Mitt10, only media and pundits can change their minds. Heaven forbid someone should mature and repent and get a different viewpoint… sickening if you ask me!
I like Rove mostly, but I really respect his knowledge. It seems no one ever gets the handle on things that he does….

Just heard on the way into work, Mitt will be in Michigan next Tuesday evening at a fund raiser with McCain.

Mitt wll be back in Utah with Bush for fundraising later this month. He will be at the NRA this week with McCain and Huckie. Mitt is everywhere. What other ‘former’ candidate is so visable as Mitt? None. Even Huckie lays low in Hollywood and Arkansas, while his minions think he is Da Bom, and should be (thankfully, won’t be) vice president.
With Mitt, McCain wins the west and the North. He’s got the south anyway. Without mitt, the West is lost, and the North is not far behind.
