Know Mitt
April 9th, 2008 Posted in 2008, Ad, John McCain, Mitt Romney, Mitt Romney, Petition, Republican, Senator McCain, VP, Vice President
Ron Frey created this ad proposal; and I think that it well represents our petition and our unity in supporting Mitt Romney.
Our Petition is still getting signatures and can now viewed at: yesmittvp.com I would like to thank Sterling, who was kind enough to assign the domain to our site. Please keep letting your friends and family know about our petition. If you have not signed it and would like to:
I am also looking into an ad buy to let more people know who we are, and who we stand with. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please let me know.

not to be a spelling-nazi but ‘expertise’ is spelled wrong… just thought you might want to know! thanks for your good work!
April 9th, 2008 at 1:23 am
All the “NO Mitt VP” signatures are gone. I just checked the site a minute ago and the counter is stopped at 1833 signatures but everything is blank…..interesting!

Correction, the counter is stopped at 1883 on the “No Mitt VP” petition.

great letter to mccain. . . but do you think mr. frey knows he spelled “expertise” wrong? maybe he ought to run spell check before publishing! even with its typo, i support this ad 150%! lovin’ it!
April 9th, 2008 at 2:42 am
also. . . phil, very suspicious about the “no mitt” petition. i’m not surprised though–it would be typical of these folks to just pull it because once again their efforts were proving to be very unsuccessful. any ideas how we could look into this?
April 9th, 2008 at 2:58 am
nevermind, i saw the post of the letter from the organizer of the petition. unbelievable. and we were all the dishonest ones for signing?! there was an “i would vote for a mccain/romney ticket” choice. so, we chose it. unreal.

News Flash: It’s “dishonest” to vote for Mitt!!
ADVISORY: PUBLIC ACCESS TO COMMENTS HAS BEEN BLOCKED. Because of insensitive and offensive posts public viewing of comments has been blocked. Click here for a complete explanation. Note: If you support Romney you should not be signing a petition against him in order to make pro-Romney statements. That is flat out dishonest.
Can someone explain to me why we can’t select option 3? And if we do, how that is “dishonest”?
Real reasons the comments were blocked:
1. The most offensive, insensitive and bigoted comments were in support of Huckabee
2. There were too many (more) votes for Mitt (yes, that was a choice. Hello? Anybody home?)
3. Huckabee supporters really don’t like losing (again, and again)
Don’t bother with these folks. Go vote FOR Mitt:

I took a look at the petition the other day. After the comments were taken down, Romney supporters started to put pro-Romney comments in as their “name”. Hence, the names are gone too.
April 9th, 2008 at 11:58 am
Yeah that makes sense Jenny, they don’t want people to see the Pro Romney statements.
April 9th, 2008 at 12:30 pm
I love the ad. It’s ’simply the best’, all Mitt! This is the way to get the message to Senator McCain’s campaign.
Thanks ComMITTed to Romney, you are doing an excellent.

Makes no sense to have a poll that says NO MITT and then give a choice I WOULD VOTE FOR MCCAIN/ROMNEY!!!!!!!!!! I JUST THOUGHT WE COULD VOTE, AND LEFT A POSITIVE MESSAGE IN BEHALF OF GOV. Romney. MY husband and I thought this is
strange, I get alittle suspicious after watching all the crap that went on during the primaries. I think this might have diffinetly used in a dishonest way. I also find it hard to believe that Huck didn’t know about this, and now Paul wayrich says ” HE DID NOT KNOW THIS WAS GOING TO BE AN AD” iT WAS OKAY TO ENDORCE A LETTER/BUT NO AD!! VERY NASTY. Let’s remember there are stats that put Mitt ahead of Huck, even
in a conservative poll. I guess his mind change on abortion was taken on his word!!
Even when they broke out how folks voted, Romney got the most conservatives, over
HUCK AND MCCAIN!!!!! I think they are desperate. Also, most of the polls Iv’e been on
Mitt is ahead!!!!!!It’s just a shame. no one deserves this, he’s already been vetted.
Mainely yours, NICE WORK COMMITTED TO ROMNEY

I voted. I am confused. Does it mean I voted against a M&M ticket? If it does, the Huck supporters are as CUNNING as the man himself.

Carlos:
Slick? Please explain. There are no hard feelings between the Governor and the Senator, I can assure you that.
He’d bring in Massachusetts, Nevada, Utah, Michigan, Colorado, etc. Insignificant? I think not Carlos. Utah has a strong possibility of going blue this year because of Obama actually.
If Republicans can’t win the south then they’ve got problems. McCain has the south in the bag, he needs to win the west and north west. How did Romney disavow Reagen in 1994? When did he campaign with a Rockefeller?
There is nothing wrong about a Mormon governing a Catholic state. Nobody makes an issue out of that except those who have prejudices against Mormons. You put church in parenthesis, almost as if trying to dismiss it as an actual religion. You lack religious tolerance Carlos.
Now I may be wrong but I’m almost certain the Mormons have done not what single thing against Catholics but if they did, they don’t represent the REAL Mormon followers. Now, what you also could be saying is that because the Mormons believe in something different than you, that it is offensive to you. Well, yet again, another example of your religious intolerance.
Kind Regards,
Steve
BTW: the first steve at these comments isn’t me!

Romney came in 2nd in: Illinois, Arizona, California, New York, Conn., New Jersey, Delaware, Florida New Hampshire, West Virginia & Iowa. He and Sen McCain would make an excellent team. Okay, I found a signature you might find a little bigoted on this petition that I think I should bring to your attention. It just bugged me. People are dumb.
883 - Tommy- I think we need more wifes in the white house vote Mitt.
April 10th, 2008 at 12:43 pm
I addition to not being able to think cognatively, he cannot spell well either! I too found the entry quite tacky…. God bless Mitt.
On a second note. I just listened to Mitt on Paul Harvey and again, he was rational, thoughtful and just fun to listen to. We need him in the WH just so we can have someone who is not only fun to look at, but has a nice voice…. KKSM

KKSM: Just listened to Governor Romney as well, I think he did just fine, even put
alittle laugh in occasionally, it’s just a shame he is so talented. Just kidding. The more exposure, the better. He has been blessed. Now, I hope we are, with him as vp!!!!!
Have a great weekend .
Anyone know if there is any video of the Pa. keynote speech Gov. Romney gave for
Mccain??????????
