If a politician takes on the Global Warming Hoax right now, it will consume time that needs to be spent on more important, current items. The only reason to move Global Warming to the top of the list right "now" would be if our nation appeared to be signing on to it "now". If a politician pushes Global Warming either there is some political advantage for them or they have bought in. Politicians who do not believe usually try to pass it by without a comment or make some inane comment that doesn't commit them either way. This is one of those third rail things.
