Meghan McCain

March 18th, 2008 Posted in 2008, John McCain, Meghan McCain, Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney

Here are some tidbits from Meghan McCain, daughter of Sen. John McCain, from a GQ interview.

On Mitt Romney:

Mitt Didn’t keep it real.

On Mike Huckabee becoming VP:

That’s not going to happen. . . I don’t think they’d be a good match for a lot of reasons and am not even sure if that’s what Huckabee’s going for, anyway. I think he wants to be the head of the evangelical movement.”

On her political views:

I’m an Independent. Socially liberal, economically conservative. I believe in a lot of Republican ideals, with the war being the number one thing I completely agree with my Dad on.

“Mitt didn’t keep it real”, oh please, give me a break, he kept it real by keeping everyone on their toes on the issues and didn’t let them get away with lying thats keeping it real in my book.

As for Huckabee, yeah they wouldn’t be a good match for one big reason, he was exploited by their campaign and his gullibility was what allowed it to keep going.

Has anyone heard Obama’s speech. It is so funny to hear the liberal MSM sing its praises. Oh where were they when a certain candidate gave a truly inspiring speech.

Can someone please explain to me how members of Obama’s congregation believe that they are the victims of racism and then turn around enjoy sermons that ultimately preach racism. Any thoughts?

To my way of thinking, “keeping it real” is not lying about your opponent or doing weird push polls that smear them and spread false information.

All that being said, it needs to lie in the past and be what it is, over. We need to move on now and do all we can to keep Mitt in the public eye and mind. We need him so we may need to swallow our anger and let him do what he needs to do and feels is right to do for himself, his family and the nation. It is difficult for me, I have to exert a great deal of effort and let higher laws dictate my thoughts…. KKSM

    Mitt 2010,
I find it amazing how the media just fawns over Everything this guy says. Mitt’s speech was extremely well written, Obama’s was just another stump speech full of hotair and nothing we haven’t heard before. Honestly, if he didn’t like what Wright was saying why would he allow his own Children to listen to that?

Uhhhh, wellll, let me just say it was light and airy? ; ) I have always said; Mitt is the real deal. I do not think he could get anymore real. The man is the epitome of integrity, sheesh. A little dip with your chip, Meghan? : ) God bless, Cat

It is so odd, when I listened to MItt’s Dec. 6 speech, I was truly inspired like sitting through a wonderful big church meeting that is full of great leadership, inspiration, truth and light… As I listened to what I got to hear today on my way home from work in my car, I kept waiting for some substance. Something that would let a little light in. I could see why some people are inspired by him though. He is smooth and articulate. He just never really said anything of substance. It did make him look good though I guess. Mitt’s was by far and away a superior talk, but that may be because my perspective of religiosity is pretty much the same as his. He is a great man…

Keep those phone calls going to McCain and the RNC!!! When I asked the other day if alot of people are calling, they told me yes and that many of the calls were about Mitt. That tells me that other camps are calling too…. Fight the good fight all!

My first post was about Meghan McCain. As far as Romney’s speech and Obama’s there is no comparison. What I don’t get is Obama knew that this would eventually come out. (his church, Rev. Wright) Does he think that we are stupid? He has been attending this church for 20 years, I’m not buying the> I wasn’t there or I didn’t know, from Obama. When Rev. Wright awarded Farrakhan that Lifetime Achievement Award, you would think Obama would be running for the nearest exit. Facts are facts! Obama has been attending this church for 20 years and considers Rev. Wright his mentor. Now he is trying to make it all seem ok. WRONG! not ok. Personally, I think he is done. I’m sure Hillary and Bill are doing the Tango right now lol. Seriously, being a baby boomer, I have seen a lot, but this is one of THE craziest elections ever. Either that or I forgot. : ( God bless, Cat ; )

She sounds an awful lot like my darling teenage stepdaughter - full of silliness and always trying to be cool when in the spotlight. Epitomizes the blonde stereotype.

  12. Leslie Says:

What a sweetheart! Is this what we shall expect from the next 4 years? I’ll take the Bush twins any day over her.

They were all so jealous of Gov. Romney, they can’t stand themselfs. He has wonderful
attributes, and is too smart for all of them. We can only keep spreading Romney
for V.P. If you don’t know about this site, go to http://www.unitethegop.com. This site is
to help us get Romney on the V.P. ticket. Let’s all do our part. We need make waves!!!!!
Meghan sounds like she’s got lots to learn in life.
    Mainely yours

Oh my gosh! How old is she. I think I was more intelligent at that age even if I didn’t know that much about politics. Of course I probably knew a lot more then she did. How old is She?
