Will Democrats’ Battle End in Brokered Convention?
March 10th, 2008 Posted in ABC News, Barack Obama, Brokered Convention, Democratic Convention, Democrats, Hillary Clinton, John McCain
You have got to love this, it’s absolutely awesome to see the Democrats battling it out while our party has already decided. No bloody fists for us.
From ABC News
Democrats are increasingly concerned that neither Barack Obama nor Hillary Clinton will finish the primary season with enough delegates to become the nominee. So, today, Democrats publicly pondered a nightmare scenario — a brokered convention.
I like it I tell ya, I like it.

Let’s hope they do end up with a brokered convention. It will give them less time to campaign too. It looks as if Mitt is on the move too. His site is back up after being down for about a month. Hannity is going to interview McCain on Monday and Mitt on Tues. Do you think a possible VP announcement may be in the works? http://www.unitethegop.com

Something is definitely going on. Something is in the works, maybe not a VP announcement (quite possible) but a campaign announcement or something of the like. I tend to not expect anything because then I will be upset so I tend to downplay things and not get excited when its confirmed and 100% accurate.
Romney will make the records book because if he is chosen as the VP (probably the best shot McCain has - like Reagan/Bush) because it’ll be a Hillary/Obama v. McCain/Romney.
I’ll make a prediction now and say there will be a McCain/Romney ticket, there’ll be a Hillary/Obama ticket and Republicans win this year.

Simply put………….If Romney is the VP, then I will vote Republican. If not, then I will vote Democrat.

I like your thinking RC…EXCEPT VOTING DEM.

I think I’m with you RC, but I still have to wait and see if McCain can earn my trust.

Haaaaaaa, I think you gave Hillary to many muscles. lol…… I kind of have a feeling we might see a 68 repeat at the DNC. Sure hope not. It will be interesting and wonderful to hear from Romney. I will Vote for McCain, although I do not agree on many issues, but as I have said numerous times, I SHUDDER to think of Hillary or Obama in the White House. A McCain/Romney ticket would be unbeatable, much prefer a Romney/? ticket though.
God bless

Frofreak,
I don’t think McCain can gain anyone’s trust. His 25 years of absolutely doing nothing for the Republican Party, mixed with his lack of mental capacity to govern and lead, plus his lack of ability to spark enthusiasm, excitement and a positive attitude in people, IT AIN’T GOING TO HAPPEN.
McCain is as exciting and motivating as watching a snail cross the road. With Romney in the picture, NOW THAT would bring total EXCITEMENT. I would even probably have to change my pants because of the EXCITEMENT. (if you know what I mean)
BUT, on the other hand, we might be watching that snail cross the road.
