What happened to Rusy’s post on “Thoughts”?

Good Question Ross, I don’t know. Maybe he took it down??? I certainly didn’t.

  3. Leslie Says:

It would have been fun to see him run, but maybe he needs a little more experience first.

Hmmm…Oh That would have been fun if he ran. I agree with leslie though and the fact that the Democratic Congressman from the second district in Utah is he highest rated congressman does not help much. Maybe he should run for city council or something. I am all for him to get into politics but expereince should matter.

Actually it was probably a good thing he chose not to run. The Democrats have a lock on that particular seat. With academic and professional liberals on the east bench and minorities on the west side, Salt Lake is donkey territory. There hasn’t been a Republican mayor of SLC since Jake Garn and two of the most recent Republicans to hold that particular seat (Enid Greene and Alan Howe) were simply too weird for words.
I don’t know about Josh needing more experience, but he does need to find a congressional seat where the demographics are a little more to his liking.
