Gentle Request

March 1st, 2008 Posted in Admin Stuff, This Site

I am still noticing through my stats software than many of you are still coming through to the blog from http://www.electromneyin2008.com (or http://blog.electromneyin2008.com). I’d sincerely from the bottom of my heart appreciate it if you could change your bookmarks to reflect the new address http://www.committedtoromney.com. The reason for this is because I’m thinking of giving the http://www.electromneyin2008.com address to someone else, and while the SEO is great in terms of that. You’re going to eventually not come to the right place when you type it in. Right now the site mirrors to ComMITTed to Romney so that we can keep the SEO, but eventually the Elect Romney in 2008 site will not exist and then you’ll lose all the great information you get here. Also, if you wouldn’t mind letting others know that have the wrong links on their sites as well you’d be a doll.

Thanks, now back to regularly scheduled programming…

    Ann,
I have tried numerous times to go directly to the new page and I get an error message every time. Please email me at aggieschip@aol.com with a solution. Here is the error message:

    Skip over navigation
Oops! We can’t find the webpage you’re looking for
    Here are some suggestions:
Check the address for typing errors such as ww.example.com instead of http://www.example.com
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s internet connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that your browser is permitted to access the Web

    Ann Marie:

I have visited a site - http://www.unitethegop.com that has not given up on Mitt for a VP nominee or better yet, a twist of fate that might bring him back as the Presidential candidate - there is a lot of time between now and November and the disconnect with McCain is very strong. They need help to get the word out as they try to influence the RNC, McCain and Romney campaigns.

Thank you for keeping this site going - as Mitt said “I don’t like to lose” and neither do I. If folks have not read the comment from the 15 year old from Austin, Texas, you should extract it from Vic’s Letters to The Romneys and reprint it for all to see - it brought me to my knees in tears to know that a 15 year old has more insight and understanding than our electorate. To think that we have allowed our country to sink to the point of actually considering electing a candidate to “lead” who HAS NO LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE, including McCain. SHAME ON US - we cannot give up - Mitt is the best thing that has happened to this country in a very long time - we have to keep pounding that into the RNC and McCain et al.

My husband says its impossible for Mitt to be President this year. What do you all say?
