This is what we should all be doing.

The Paradoxical Commandments
by Dr. Kent M. Keith

People are illogical, unreasonable, and self-centered.
Love them anyway.

If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.
Do good anyway.

If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies.
Succeed anyway.

The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway.

Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable.
Be honest and frank anyway.

The biggest men and women with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest men and women with the smallest minds.
Think big anyway.

People favor underdogs but follow only top dogs.
Fight for a few underdogs anyway.

What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight.
Build anyway.

People really need help but may attack you if you do help them.
Help people anyway.

Give the world the best you have and you'll get kicked in the teeth.
Give the world the best you have anyway.

Just some food for though.

I find that the left has its man (person?) in Clinton or Obama, the center has its man in McCain or Huckabee, who is the man for the right?

Beautiful post Rusty, and inspiring, but I still feel like I'm in a Tolkienesque nightmare. My Aragorn is gone, and I'm left with Gollum and co.

God bless Mitt...and those that are still voting for him.
God bless Ann Marie for starting this site...I really appreciate it.
Alex

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.

I started to say "I don't know why Mitt would want to put up with the abuse again", but then I do. Service. I hope he does, but I'll understand if he doesn't. - P

1. This site has Google ads running on it and the site owner doesn't choose the ads. That's how the site makes money.
2. Mitt "suspended" his campaign because it allows him to continue the operations without campaigning. Why? Because then he can pay the bills he's accrued, etc. He can also continue getting donations to apply to a 2012 bid and not have to reinstitute a campaign to get started again. It also keeps his delegate count live. (John Edwards did the same thing.) In the unforeseen circumstance, Mitt could also start campaigning again, but we know it's over for this particular campaign. He'll be back in 2012, I have to believe that or I have no hope for our political future!
3. I could never vote for McCain. He and his wife should both be in jail or, at the very least, have completed their jail terms and be convicted felons, never to run for public office again.
4. Obama is going to win in a landslide. As for me and my house, we will vote for MITT and pray for our country.

I logged onto this sight this morning and got a shock of my life............A John McCain ad at the top of the landing page. What's up with this? I am sorry, I will never vote for or back McCain in any public position. He is the devil in sheeps clothing. Let me see if I get this right:

It's like you, trying to get the Mormons (who just lost their spiritual leader at the age of 97) to vote for, to rally around and to back Mike Huckabee as their new Church President, all for the sake of the Church. How lame. How insane. How pathetic!

It's like you, wanting Brittany Spears to become the President of the American Family Association. I think we should all back Brittany in her quest to become their next President for the sake of the AFA. WAKE UP PEOPLE..............

I voted on Super Tuesday for MITT ROMNEY. In November, I am going to vote for MITT ROMNEY, whether on the ballot or not. If his name is not on the ballot, then I will surely write his name in. I will not cast my pearls before swine.................

GO MITT

Yet, Romney just had his name put on the Indiana ballot, today 2-12. What's up with that. I say, vote Romney. If McCain is going to win anyway, why not vote Romney?

You've just delivered a very inspiring case for John McCain. Maybe now is the time for Mitt to withdraw from the race and endorse McCain. This will make Huckabee look even more foolish than he's looking now.
