I think that maybe Huckabee and McCain are together in this election. Huckabee gets as many delegates as possible, while Mc Cain gets a ton of them, and then Huckabee "see's the error of his ways," and the delegates go to McCain. McCain rewards Huckabee with the VP title.

I suggest we wait and see what Mitt will do about the GOP issues... if he asks that we vote the nominated republican, I will surely follow suit. Its better this way than going down the splintered path forming own decisions what's best for Mitt- see where he ends up with the GOP party.... stranger things can happen, you know... IMHO

I would be first in line to sign a web page to get both Huck and McCain out! I'm sure most of you have been watching the primaries & the caucus'es where democrats vote us out 2 to 1 and in some states its 3 to 1. Barack or Hillary will be our next president no matter who McCain brings along for VP. The dems are out for blood cuz they think that Bush stole the election from Gore in 2000 and most of them have not forgotten that. I believe it was Kansas on Sat. where Huck won, there are 780.000 registered republician voters and only 19,582 actually came out and voted, as opposed to Dems the numbers were staggering! I'm still going to hold my nose and vote for McCain, but I feel in my heart we have lost the battle before we have even begun to fight!

Sorry, but how does not voting for McCain help keep our land from going more to the lefties and liberals? In four years, one or more awful Supreme Court Justices, to say nothing of lower federal court justices can be appointed; the Bush tax cuts can expire; Islamofascism can get a break. It's unlikely McCain, if elected, will serve two terms, so HOW DOES THIS HELP?

Miguel,

Go ahead and get this done. I believe that there are many conservatives would love to sign a pledge that we will not vote for McCain in November. We need to fight for our cause with RNC in Washington. I sent them an email last weekend and told them that there are many conservatives will vote for Dems. if McCain gets the nomination.

We could still ask McCain to withdraw from the race, for the good of the party. If enough of us make noice who knows what could happen at the convention.
I still think we should come up with a web page where republicans can sign a pledge that we will not vote for McCain this November.

Bigmo,

Yes. And here's how:

Add Romney's votes (16%, but no longer in the race, so technically "other") to uncommitted (13%, former Romney voters) and you get: 29%

McCain only got 26%

Nice.

Is there any truth to the rumor I heard that McCain actually lost the Washington caucus to "other?"

I am glad you will still be operating. Four years goes fast and there is a lot of other good conservative work you do. It will take all of us to do the job.
