I am frustrated with everyone trying to get their finger into the pie. I know this isn't related, but it makes me mad that McCain has received the most lobbyists’ money in the Presidential race.

I think I'll vote for Romney, nobody can buy that guy. And besides he has skills.

McCain, he's got............ um.......... let's see............ oh yeah, he has 25 years in the senate, tons of favors due, and has passed no significant legislation. Additionally, the guy has been consulting on military committees for 25 years - HE IS PART OF THE PROBLEM and hasn’t kept us safe.

Ann - I do not want to go down that road and I really believe Mitt has a vision of America without illegal immigrants, where everyone's legal, giving us less crime, higher test scores, fewer uninsured, shorter ER wait times, more English-speaking service people and more re-opened hospitals.

Mitt really won my vote when I heard Mitt in one of the NH debates talk about immigration. The reason he won the endorsement of Tom Tancredo is he understands you will never end illegal immigration as long as you let those who come here illegally stay.

Think about an Mexican citizen considering a move to the U.S. If McCain is elected, then he knows that he can stay in the U.S., even though he enters illegally, while he waits to become a citizen. Faced with entering legally by waiting years in low-wage Mexico or entering illegally in high-wage-but-pay-a-fine U.S., he’ll come illegally because the extra U.S. money he makes will more than offset McCain's fines.

If the Mexican hears Romney is elected, he will probably wait in line to enter legally because he knows he can’t stay, even if he manages to sneak across.

I blog about this @ http://vermonters4mitt.wordpress.com/2008/02/03/be-a-sport-self-deport-2/

If you want to see the country go the way of California vis a vis illegal
immigration - then vote for McCain. Thanks to people like him we
now have gangs, crime, drugs drug smuggling , crowded roads
crowded cities & towns, low performing schools , bankrupt hospitals
& strained social services . Quality of life has gone down considerably.
even in my beautiful city of San Diego .
There is a lot of disrespect for America & for American values .
Is this what you want for more & more of America? Obama & Clinton will not
stand up for legal Americans . McCain is suspect also .

ROMNEY NEEDS TO WIN!!!! He's the one that can handle ALL the issues, not just the war or economics. Besides this, he is a very honest, caring, moral guy that can be a model for our children, someone that we can all respect and trust! I agree, he needs to spend more time talking about his qualities and leave McCain alone. McCain talks about himself way too much already!!!! Virginia H. Romney in Mexico

If 98% of Mitt's ads are about Mitt then I've been unlucky. All I have heard in Seattle are the ads about McCain. As I said, I will be voting for Mitt and I believe he is our only choice for conservative Republicans. I just want to hear more about the good works that Mitt is doing and has done. If this were cars or any other commodity, you don't sell your product by putting down the competition. At least you don't mention the other guy in your ad 15 times and only mention your name at the end. It is bad enough that the liberal media continues to tout McCain, I don't think it's doing Mitt any good that Rush, Sean, Levin, et al (and these are guys that are supporting Mitt) mention McCain, while exposing him as the liberal he truly is, as much as they do without giving equal time to Romney and his conservative values.

I agree with Carolina. McCain is saying he is a conservative and the media is giving him a pass. I personally do not think his ads are that negative.

Evangelicals DO have a choice. That's why I support Ron Paul For president.
(Please read to the end.)

Ron Paul not only professes to be a Christian but his life and political career have been a model of humility and service to others. Here is a man who's profession of faith is not merely a type of pandering to "get the Christian vote" but is in fact a clear record of Christian principles in action.

To quote: "I have never been one who is comfortable talking about my faith in the political arena. In fact, the pandering that typically occurs in the election season I find to be distasteful. But for those who have asked, I freely confess that Jesus Christ is my personal Savior, and that I seek His guidance in all that I do. I know, as you do, that our freedoms come not from man, but from God. My record of public service reflects my reverence for the Natural Rights with which we have been endowed by a loving Creator."

I ask you to check out where he stands on various issues, where you can read or view him without interruption.

Vote for a TRUE conservative, Ron Paul.

David

98% of Mitts ads have been about Mitt's record.

NONE of John McCain's ads have been about his record.

SOMEBODY has to let the voters know about McCain --- McCain and his buddies in the press are not going to do it.

I was listening to Rush when a McCain commercial came on that I immediately knew was paid for by Romney. I am shocked that as successful a businessman that Mitt is that he is running an anti McCain campaign. I want to hear about Romney, I already know that I can't stand McCain and will write in Romney if it comes to that at election time. Mitt needs to spend more time talking about himself, his successes, his family, love of country, etc. He needs to capitalize on any endorsements he may have from non Washington insiders. How about foreign leaders he impressed while putting together the Olympics. I want to see him as the Republican candidate in November and I fear that if the campaign continues to go the way it has been that this is not going to happen.
