February 3rd, 2008 Posted in Conservative, Fox News, John McCain, Mitt Romney
H/T to reader Kathleen!
Foxnews is asking people to send an e-mail to yourwordlive@foxnews.com to tell them who is more conservative–Mitt Romney or John McCain. Maybe we could let them know.
Let’s do it! yourwordlive@foxnews.com

Please give us the email address.

I just sent my e-mail to Fox.
Here is the address: yourwordlive@foxnews.com

Just sent them an email. I told them the question is not who is MORE conservative but who IS a conservative…Mitt is a conservative, McCain is a liberal.
I also asked them (for the third time this week) to stop their bias against Mitt Romney.

Hey, SBI, my message was much the same as yours.
In fact, I told them I had stopped watching Fox altogether because of their disgusting bias. I used to have Fox News on 24/7.
Perhaps this will cure me from being a news junkie.

I sent them an email as well. Thanks for the heads up.
February 3rd, 2008 at 8:40 pm
I told them that hands down, Mitt is the only conservative left on the ticket. I also let them know that I thought that McCain was a cancer on the party.

I hear you bethtopaz…I don’t know how I can go through the mornings and evenings without FNC, but I am just so upset about them. At least Sean Hannity came forward and “saved the day” for his show. Even my “hero” Bill O’Reilly lost it. Britt Hume and his usual guests - I need a bucket every time I hear their voices or see their faces.

Watched the debate tonight and McCain complained of people changing their minds. What about McCain? Was for amensitey not against, for stopping freedom of speech, now for. What do you think will happen the minute McCain becomes president? AMENSITY TO ALL ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS and many more freedoms taken away from the American people. McCain is a wolf in sheep clothing. Gov Romney is the true “Reagan” leader this country needs right now. Elect and support Gov Romney and save the USA. He is a man of integrity and honesty. McCain will destroy the country by joining hands with the Democrats on all that they want done. DO not trust McCain. He was thinking of leaving the party to join Senator Kerry for the Vice President during the elections 8 years ago. That shows you someone who changes his positions all the time.

BTW - Shepard Smith was able to boil my blood on Friday…look at this, I caught it by mistake.

So much for “front runner”….

Just sent them an email as follows:
“John McCain is simply NOT a conservative and his track record proves it. My question for you is why is Fox News so in-love with McCain?
Mitt Romney is not only more conservative he is the only true conservative in the race.
Please Fox News what happened to honest reporting (”We Report You Decide”)? Your bias for John McCain and against Mitt Romney is really unbelievable!”

Already sent an email to Fox and also told them I would never vote for McCain!!!
February 3rd, 2008 at 8:58 pm
Send this message to everyone you know. Let’s set up a chain reaction to overwhelm the email box!
February 3rd, 2008 at 9:03 pm
My email to Fox was that Romney and McCain in reality are the same on Foreign Policy and Military issues.
Romney is LIGHT YEARS ahead of McCain on economics and taxation.
February 3rd, 2008 at 9:15 pm
I posted this at Ultimitt.org as well. We can inundate them with pro-Romney comments on this one!
February 3rd, 2008 at 9:32 pm
I too have sent off an e-mail to Fox News. I am tired of McCains ranting and raving about his war hero status. To me he was a “Prisoner of War”,
not a war hero. Audie Murphy was a war hero. I find the lies that McCain spews about Mitt Romney are representative of his character and personal ethics. If McCain ends up being the “Republican Darling”, then I will vote for Mitt Romney by write in.

This is from today in Illinois. Is there something to this story and do we need to get the word out before Tuesday? From First Read:
But Romney did take one pass on attacking McCain - when asked if he had any comments about charges reported by the New York Times of an improper relationship between the senator and lobbyist, Romney said only: “I have no information about that whatsoever and so don’t have any comment on it. Not familiar with the circumstances at all.”
February 3rd, 2008 at 9:45 pm
Here’s what I sent them: I’m not troubled so much by Romney’s past, being somewhat moderate while running for office in a deeply liberal state so much as I am by John McCain taking so many liberal positions while holding office in a conservative state like Arizona. While Romney was representing his constituency, McCain was betraying them.
February 3rd, 2008 at 9:46 pm
Hi I sent an email to Fox saying that Mitt Romney was more conservative and I let them know that we are trying to expose McCain for the liberal he is and regardless of how the race turns out, FOX WILL BE THE BIGGEST LOSER!
February 3rd, 2008 at 10:25 pm
The delegate count as per CNN stands now at McCain 97, Mitt 92. Only 5 delegates difference and they are behaving is if this race is over. It is far from over.
The polls are moving Romney’s direction. Sean Hannity, Laura Ingrahm, Rick Santorum, Mark Levin all have joined the Romney resistance to try and save our party from Big Goverment republicans. The MSM (including Fox) and McCain did not see this coming but they will never forget it.

you can also bombard this URL too… use News Tip Box to send your comments and tell them Mitt is the only conservative… etc.

Let us know if anyone hears how/if Fox reports back on this
February 4th, 2008 at 3:28 am
Stephanie, I heard you. Here is my response:
“Fox News what is up with you??? As a Canadian I have always preferred getting my US news and views from Fox because of what I saw as “fair and balanced” reporting and analysis. Of course I was expecting much of the same when it came to the republican primaries. I must be going blind because I don’t see it. I see an overwhelming support from you for John McCain, and this despite his blatant dishonesty, real-time flip flopping, anti-republican/conservative record in the senate . . . I could go on.
I am so disheartened because of your slanted coverage and bias against Mitt Romney who is proving to be a great MAN, true blue and wise. I remember watching Bill O’Reilly a while back, state with such surety that Mr. Romney was going to be the Republican nominee. He did a relatively in-depth interview with Romney which was “fair and balanced”. He asked some tough questions and got thoughtful, honest and thorough answers. In fact, Romney gets asked the toughest questions of any of the candidates, and intelligently and methodically answers each and every one of them without prevarication (unlike others).
Bill O’Reilly used to be my hero. Now, I can’t trust him. He and his team have either not done in-depth research on the two top Republican candidates, or they have and are suppressing the truth.
The Internet is a wonderful invention which has enabled us regular folk to do our own research and believe me, we can dig very deep. We also have the intelligence to sift through the “crap” about each candidate and go straight to their own stated stands on issues and, more importantly, their records on what they have done to prove their qualifications for office.
Mitt Romney has no equal in this contest, neither on the Republican nor the Democratic side. He is a “will do” man of action and integrity who seeks to be President of the United States of America, not for his own agrandizement, but to help your nation and its people prosper again. As a Canadian I understand that a strong America (economically, morally and defensively) translates into a better world. In my view America, with the right leadership, is not a nation-builder, but a nation who supports other nations to build themselves up. That’s a good thing!
So, Bill O’Reilly and you other Fox News celebrities, stop your own spin, analyse your own biased coverage, credit your audience with more smarts than you’re currently giving us, and get back to being “fair and balanced.”
Thank you,

Thank you Rebecca.

I had to put my 2 cents in on this one. This is what I sent.
Does that questions really need to be asked???? McCain has had his name on more liberal stance bills that any other Rep. has in a long time. McCain-Feingold was one of the worst. The most recent was his push for his version of “a form of amnesty” through McCain-Kennedy. We could go on and on but Hannity does it best when he lists them out over and over again.
I have to admit, I have reduced the amount of Fox News Channel that I watch due to the extremely obvious bias against Romney. Most of that bias comes from your on the road pundit, Cameron. It irritates me to no end how much glee he apparently has when there is negative news to report about Romney and his campaign and how it is like pulling teeth for him to say anything positive when there is so much positive to say.
Romney, as he has stated, will stand firm on all 3 legs of the true conservative base. Fiscal, Social, & National Security conservatism is where he is based on.
Please remove the spin and bias from the shows. Yes McCain has taken the delegate lead, but how much reporting has been done about Maine??????????
Romney won more than his 3 competitors combined and I just barely heard something in passing and it only came from Romney in an interview. Otherwise I doubt that I would have heard anything about it. If you count the unpledged delegates right now Romney is now only 5 delegates behind McCain but the only statements that I have heard out of the likes of Dick Morris, O’Reily, Brit, and others it McCain is becoming more and more the likely nominee. How is that??? When they are 5 delegates spread and we are going into Super Tuesday with a huge ground swell for Romney it is agitating to see the bias reporting.
I hope for Fox News sake that you start using your opening phrase more correctly when you say “You Decide” and report the facts and not the opinions. Let us decide or we will decide to not watch Fox anymore.
Sincerely,
Ben Barrus
Boise, ID
In my opinion the Maine win should have been front story news due to how huge the spread was. There is a swell happening and we can help make it go all the way to the nomination.
Go Team Romney!!!!!!
