More wars
“It’s a tough war we’re in. It’s not going to be over right away. There’s going to be other wars.” Offering more of his increasingly bleak “straight talk,” he repeated the claim: “I’m sorry to tell you, there’s going to be other wars. We will never surrender but there will be other wars.”

- John McCain, February 3rd 2008
I would love a commercial by Mitt Romney saying that he is going to do the same thing that Bush did, and try every diplomatic option with-in reason, and that it is irresponsible to say “there will be more wars”. This goes to the heart of why I don’t want to vote for John McCain. He is not putting forth an intelligent argument trying to predict that there will be more wars; he is trying to position himself as the know-it all tough-guy. “Yep, there is going to be more wars, but don’t you worry there little missy, I’ll take care of you.”
David Petraeus doesn’t say, “there are going to be more wars.” President Bush doesn’t say, “there are going to be more wars”. The Defense Department and State Department don’t tell us there are going to be more wars. But John McCain knows more than them all put together. Do you see what a train wreck this is going to be? John McCain has spent 25 years in congress out positioning people politically. Saying the right thing to get elected. If he wins he will go from having a staff of 2 to 6 people, to running the largest organization on the planet. His job will be to collect the brightest people on the planet and trying to prevent more wars. That’s what he is going to do right?
Right?

I’ve got a killer script for a nice mashup on McCain’s wars, if someone has good video editing capabilities…

More Wars, Less Jobs

Does being a prisoner of war, and being a hero immunize you from criticism and assessment in the military and national defense sphere? Sorry, it does not. I just don’t see JM as having the ability to think deeply and understand how to defeat Islamofascism. In the next two days and beyond, we need to get this message across.
PS: JEWS FOR MITT! Lol.

Hey Steven in Brooklynn I hope you are not feeling to lonely up there. I guess NY is McCain territory. Sad. Thanks for fighting for Mitt.

Isn’t this called a self-fulfilling prophecy. If anyone else had said this, the media would be all over it. It scares me–without war, what good is John McCain. And by the way, most Republicans supported the surge. Just when did McCain stand alone and put his political future on the line?

Steven,
Get your Jews fellows out and vote for Governor Romney. This country needs no more war; THE COUNTRY NEEDS A POST-WAR ECONOMIC RECOVERY AND CREATING NEW JOBS. The country is facing a bankruptcy in next few years with all the capital lost in Subprimes and the cash burned in Iraq. We need a new leader like Governor Romney to guide the country re-building a strong economy. McCain will escalate the war in Iraq if he gets into the White House, and this country can’t afford that any more. We need Governor Romney to work with the government of Iraq to set up the timetable of withdraw, and re-direct our resource to the post-war economic recovery at home.

Hey Mit10, I’m used to it, so not that depressed. Also, NYC is also where Rush L., and Sean L., and Mark L. are based, and I hope there’s something valuable being transmitted from here.
On the other hand, tomorrow outside the Grand Army Plaza subway stop you will see Nine Clinton signs, eleven Obama signs, and not a single one for McCain..
Helen, funny directive you make. But sorry, I don’t have any pull with The Jews, most of whom will are Democrats; the tiny balance will go mostly for JM via Rudy, or simply because of being so embedded in the New York State Matrix of Cluelessness.
Gee, I am 44 years old, and if I’ve met more than ten Republicans in my life, I would be surprised….
