Arguments
Eisenhower and Ford did not win us majorities in congress. They were both moderates. Newt and Reagan won us majorities. They were conservatives. We don’t win by agreeing with democrats. We win by having a smart guy who is capable of making great arguments. Think of Newt. Think of Reagan.

Mike I agree with you whole heartedly on that! That is why McCain cant win among the Republican base and would lose big time to Democrats.
Mike can you put a post up disecting the McCains major loss in Maine. McCain carried Maine in 2000 with 44% of the vote. Romney steam rolled McCain carrying 52% of the vote. There was record turn out yesterday the question has to be asked why! The conservatives have started to revolt and solidify behind Mitt. Look at Mitts number is Arizona he is in striking Distance he could even win California.

I’ve been calling and emailing CNN, N Y Times, etc. about the lack of coverage of the Maine Caucus. THEY HAVE ALL BURIED OR FAILED TO COVER IT. Get on the phones and start emailing to get some coverage.
EVEN AFTER FLORIDA Mitt pounded McCain 2-1 in Maine! THAT IS BIG NEWS.

Its huge news and only we will be able to get it out. I think Romney should air a new commericial touting it along with the Conservative Endorsements, and support he is receiving.
More News Mitt Romney just took first place in a Republican Straw poll in Middletown Ct. He won with 36% of the vote to McCains 28%. Mitt has allot more strength out there then some pundits will let you believe!

Alan Keyes wrote a piece at WordNetDaily about Mitt being responsible for same-sex marriage in MA 2 days before Super Tuesday. It’s front page. Same tactics as McCain. These people are not honorable!

I have been sending this message to many blogs:
This is not over! As we all know, things happen in California first. Romney now has the momentum and is leading in Cali. This will spread the rest of the country. Super Tuesday will not be the end. Then Romney can take McCain one on one the rest of the way. All true conservatives need to get on the bandwagon for Romney. Come on in Paul supporters, Fred Heads, Huckabee supporters and friends of Rudy. Let’s take back our Republican party by voting for Romney!
I hope that us Romney supporters are not just using our best methods of getting the word out in Romney friendly circles. We need to go where we are not comfortable, to change peoples minds. Go to the Huckabee supporter sites, Paul sites, Thompson sites, Rudy sites and even McCain sites to make our case. Call into a radio talk show or even go door to door. We must not get comfortable. We are going through these hard times so that we are better prepared for the Presidential election in November!

This statement proves to me that there is a Devil. It is so patently correct and yet so many people, time and time again, ignore it for what has been proven a failure: liberalism labeled as moderatism.

John “Tax on Gas” McCain
I’ve been telling people to drive this point home about this Global Warming cap and trade McCain-Liebernman bill—-no one I speak to knows about this ~50 cents per gallon tax on gas and as much as 20 % on electricity. If words get out en mass, do you think we can sway some moderates and seniors with fixed incomes our way?
It’s a home run, but I’m growing frustrated at the lack of media coverage. I’ve e-mailed outlets asking for coverage, so we’ll see. Help get this information out!
I affectionately refer to him now as—John “tax on gas” McCain
The label can stick if we all help to drive it home.

I haven’t heard anything about the Maine Caucus this morning–look at the margin of victory and no coverage!—What an outrage!
John “tax on gas’ McCain thinks he can sail into the nomination now.
It ain’t over till it’s over!

Fox news just reported the results of the Maine caucus along with a statement by Romney.

John “tax on gas” McCain may lose California?? Look at Mitt’s lead among conservatives.

Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby Poll: McCain on a Roll; Clinton, Obama Neck-and-Neck in Key Super Tuesday States
Pollster John Zogby: “The Mac Attack appears ready to launch on Super Tuesday. McCain’s leads are commanding, except for in California where Romney leads in Southern California and among women, investors, and voters over 50. Romney holds a double digit lead there among conservatives and leads 56%-18% among very conservative voters. Romney also leads among white voters and among those who say that the war on terror and immigration are top issues.

Also, let the seniors know that McCain would love to see a 0% interest rate. He said it just the other day.
Ask them what that would do to their incomes that come from their Roth IRAs and 401ks.
McCain is an idiot when it comes to the economy. Yes, I said it — he’s an idiot.
