I would say this one is most accurate of McCain. The mind of a liberal and the body of a conservative.
I hope McCain supporters would ask themselves if not for his war experience would you vote for him? John Kerry was also a veteran… with similar liberal ideas to his name sake McCain. But obviously John Kerry would have been a disaster for this country. He was totally incompetent in being “the boss”. Both also married into money and joined into politics after they got home from war.
They both now try to use their war record as a way to silence or bury legitimate criticism of their political records. I think their 20 year soldier selves would beat up their old man slimy political asses!
Before you go off about John Kerry war record most of the swift boaters had never even served with Kerry only in a platoon with others who had. Also the records have never been released so we still don’t know how much validity their was to their records. Also the same guys as swfitboats are running attack ads against McCain.
Keep in mind Democrats didn’t really like Kerry they just thought he could win the election because of his moderate positions. LOL i still laugh about that.. it will be less funny if it happens to us this year!

I’m one year younger than Mitt Romney.
I listened to Rick Santorum on Sean Hannity’s radio broadcast, Friday. Something he said caused me to take my absentee ballot from its sealed envelope and erase the previous vote I planned to cast and change it to Mitt Romney.
He said, “a vote form McCain is a vote for Hillary Clinton!” That’s all it took. Sounds about right, considering as soon as McCain would lock up the GOP nomination, the jackels on the left will pick his bones apart - politically and he would lose us the office.
I admire several things about Mitt Romney and one of them was his change in stance on abortion. As far as His faith, God is in charge, not Him. I think God could use his business accumen to set us straight and see us run like a real business.
Just a suggestion to the Romney campaign:
While reading politico.com this morning, there was a reference to someone who did not vote in 1972 for Richard Nixon because of disdain over a growing role of government in our lives.
Immediately, I flashed back to that election as a recent college graduate and recalled all the debacle of the Watergate mess, which essentially led to the Clinton ilk.
Quickly I drew back to the vote we face here in California on Tuesday and got an immediate dejavu’ - the vulgar language, the ego-centricity, skulduggery, paranoia, temper tantrums from the Oval Office in those early 1970’s and above all, the sandbagging after the truth was revealed. I got a vision of an armed camp of tanks around the White House (facing either direction - toward or away - depending on how much power President McCain could manifest) and ultimately, him being dragged away literally kicking and screaming one of these days.
I make an attempt to thank all Vietnam veterans for their service and would do so to John McCain in the same fashion.

Shiggz did you mention who it was who blocked the war records ……. McCain. Why?
Incidentally, the cartoon was excellent. I agree with the content, but aside from that, it is so well done. - P
