ABSOLUTE BEST POLITICAL ONE-LINERS IN 20 YEARS!

Hat Tip to reader SHIGGZ for finding this clip from the Hannity and Colmes show tonight.
What is amazing about this clip is that the ultra-conservative Ann Coulter actually states she would not only vote for Hillary Clinton if McCain were the Republican nominee, she would campaign for her. You have to watch this clip to the very end. Listen carefully to the words she uses to describe this man John McCain. And she is serious! I have never seen this kind of serious rhetoric about any presidential candidate since I have been alive. She just went off on McCain.
Watch how the body language of Alan Colmes changes from beginning to end of the clip. This is stunning! I can’t wait to see McCain’s response. Being the weasel of a man that he is, he won’t. By the way, just before this Coulter segment, Hannity confirmed with Governor Romney that Tim Russert invited John McCain to debate Gov. Romney on the economy and McCain declined. This after McCain had asked Russert, awhile back, to arrange an debate one-on-one with Gov. Romney to debate economic issues. In my neck of the woods, we call people like that weenies.

There is one thing that is very clear, it is never difficult to figure out exactly what Ann Coulter is thinking on a given subject. Do any of you think McCain will answer these charges or evade and retreat? You probably know my answer to that.

Can we call him McWeenie now ;-P? Nice to see I’m not the only one still up!

This is very telling - Colmes knows it - if McCain is nominated, the democrats/liberals have a win-win situation. I don’t think for one minute that McCain can beat either Hillary or Obama, but even if he did, there is still a liberal democrat in the White House. Please, please, please, Republicans, get your act together NOW and nominate Mitt Romney.

As much as I hate Anne Coulter’s style and rhetoric (I do have a hard time listening to her), my views are constantly the same as hers.
I too will be voting for Hillary, between her and McCain. As much as I don’t like her, she is about the most moderate democrat there is (Obama is more liberal and John Edwards was much more liberal). And my hope is that the country will do with Hillary what they did with Bill in that they throw a highly Republican Congress at her.
Then the ultimate hope is that it will only be for 4 years and the republicans will be able to nominate a strong true conservative.

If we were to elect McCain, the Republican part would be dramatically moved to the left. If through his duplicity he is successful we would be better off with recovering from the mess Hillary would make of our country. At least the more conservative (in many cases) part of the Republican party would not have a tarnished name to overcome.
For those of us in the choir, our obligation is to help convince those who don’t live and breathe the awareness of our national condition. We have waited for a leader. Well, we have one. Everything you can to help, PLEASE.
Go Mitt !!!

A warning for all you that will vote for Hillary as a foil for McPain: don’t fall into their trap. That has been their plan all along (Democrats, MSM, maybe even McCain and Huck).
Just keep on working. To the slow and steady goes the prize.
If there is anything virtuous, lovely or of good report, we seek after these things. Let’s emulate Mitt, doing good works, and conducting ourselves as he does, and give our vacillating republican brethren a glimpse of a real alternative to McCain.

Frontrunners typically run away and hide. It’s called preserving a lead. McCain will hide under the rocks and let the media do his campaigning for him now.
Remember back when Governor Romney was the delegate leader (through 6 of the first 8 primary contests, by the way, and by a wider margin than McCain enjoys now), did he run and hide? Did he decline interviews on Meet the Press? Did he sit out any debates. Uh, no.
So who’s the weasel? That is a great point, thanks for making it.

I stayed up late to watch the rebroadcast of this last night. I felt like I had been able to unburden myself as I watched Ann’s tirade. That is just how I feel. Now, can we get her to PROMOTE Mitt?

If McCain gets the nomination, how soon will it be before his beloved media starts raising questions/doubts about his age and health? It’s so apparent–they’ll make it a cake walk for Hillary or Obama.

Did anybody watch the segment from the Luntz group? I cannot for the life of me figure out why people like it when a member of Congress will tell them that they are going to raise taxes. I cannot rationaly say “OH YES, I WANT THE GOVERNMENT TO HAVE MORE OF MY PAYCHECK!!!!!!!!, PLEASE I HAVE ENOUGH TO GO AROUND, TAKE AS MUCH AS YOU LIKE!!” But almost the whole focus group raised their hands when asked if they liked it when a candidate told them that they were going to raise taxes. WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!
I will never figure these bean heads out. NEVER!
