Lisarc,

Read the article, couldn't agree more! Go Virginia!! Go Mitt!!

If you get a chance to do door-to-door canvassing, don't pass it up! You can change votes at somebody's front door. We saw it happen in Iowa. Get out as early as you can, people admire the advance planning and the hard work.

I forgot to answer your other questions. Virginia is an open primary. The winner of the Virginia Republican Primary will receive all of Virginia's 63 votes on the first ballot at the national convention, unless released by the candidate. The Delegates are not bound on any subsequent ballot, or for a vice presidential candidate, or for any particular issue in the platform. I have not seen any poll results lately.

John, Oh how I wish the signatures had been collected in one day, but it was weeks of hard work. As of right now, the VA volunteers have been helping out with bus trips to the early states for those who could make it and the call@home program. The last email I got from Randy Marcus (the VA State Director for the campaign) told me that we would be hearing more about plans for our state soon. I am so psyched, now that my grandson is finally here, I can get back into campaigning more fully! The biggest thing we can do now here in VA is talk, talk, talk to everyone about Mitt. Put bumper-stickers on cars and post those yard signs! Fred had a huge following here and we have seen many of them switch to backing Mitt now. As a matter of fact, Randy has been inundated with emails lately. That is great news for us. I will update you as I hear more.
