Vic: I guess this accusation is just another one of Romney's. Mike has never been indicted on anything. Why don't you check in to: tennesseeforhuckabee.blogspot.com/2007/10/mike-huckabee-for-such-time-as-this.html ----- you will find - WHO was indicted. Perhaps if you keep reading you will find the heart of the man - Mike Huckabee. Always a true conservative - Pro-life - one man/one woman marriage - social issues that are not here today and gone tomorrow. They are embedded deep with in his heart. OUT with Sean and Rush and the likes of them! They have thrown over their true righteous, conservative values. Some people are so blinded that they cannot see God's man when he is staring them in the face. But I guess maybe they will wake up - unfortunately when it is too late!
But they were for-warned......... Enough of them ------ they will become history! It doesn't take long to like Mike - once you discover the real Mike - No one ever changes their mind! I know you think you have it all wrapped and figured out - but do a little further checking with an open mind - and pray and see what you might find. I am looking out for your America too!! ................ And about the "whisperer".......ha! I may be getting a little cynical .........but truly have my doubts about your answer.

Jill, first off, thank you for visiting the site and for leaving comments. I admire and respect your opinions and am grateful for your respectful approach.

To your last line, prove me wrong, especially on votes and returns at the polls.

As to the whisper, yesterday the network that sponsored the debate (I forgot which) said they investigated and found that two people in the audience in the front rows were whispering between themselves in a Jeapardy kind of way, trying to answer the questions ahead of the candidates. One of the very sensitive mics picked up the discussion. They said it happens once in a while.

I don't hold anything against GMH. Not at all. I just think when you place his life of service next to GMR's there is simply no comparison. GMR has served as many years as a minister as GMH (lay minister). Just about every single venture he engaged in resulted in a huge success by any measure. I am not taking any accomplishment away from GMH; he just does not hold a candle to GMR when you look at all angles of his background in executive experience.

And, unlike GMH, GMR has never been indicted and there have been no ethical lapses ever.

Vic: Well, I don't like for anyone to be deceived by MR. But that is your choice. If and only if - he becomes the candidate - the democrats and the media are not going to give him a free ride like he is getting now. Yes, one would hope that MR was knowledgeable enough that he would not need help answering - but we all heard it - didn't we? So what - if MH was the only one who graduated from High School in his family (what does that have to do with the tea in China)? - sorry - so you don't want to give him credit for his college degree - huh? Everyone talks about Mike's great communication skills and I even heard Romney compliment him on it also! That quick wit in Mike - we all love!

Talk about name recognition - I personally have heard of MR for many years.
As we know, MH is really going great guns with no name recognition either ! Oh, its possible that MR has raised more money than MH - but he will never tell you how much of his own money he spent will he ? All those negative ads cost a lot! McCain also knows about that. Mike's support is all coming from his supporters on his website. He is no longer pastor or preacher and is not getting money from the church treasury. ............ You stole my line (I have been saying the same thing all day)..........
......."By their fruits ye shall know them." Your 1-2-3 Facts are extremely debatable.

Jill:

Please be real.

To your last comment, do you actually believe that Gov. Romney needs any prompting whatsoever? That is laughable. That whisper you refer to was regarding an answer everyone knows, certainly Romney would. I mean really. Huck has been found wanting many times on simple questions. I don't question his intelligence, but by comparison to GMR, his knowledge on key issues across the board is left wanting. He diffuses what he lacks with good humor; I will give him that. But I don't want just a funny President who is the first person graduate high school in his family. Sorry.

Facts:

1) GMH cannot get more than about 1/3 of all evangelical votes. Period.

2) GMH cannot raise money; form of voting. Period.

3) GMH cannot get more than 10% of non-evangelical votes. Period.

As to money. GMR has raised much more money than any other Republican candidate, by far. That is support by vote. And guess what? He has had to compete with three candidates who have ALL been ahead of him in the national polls: McCain, Thompson, and Giuliani. Their name recognition was gained over decades of free media attention valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars. Have you ever thought about that? Thompson on TV and movies for 20 years + Senate. McCain, the professional bureaucrat on TV for face time anytime he wanted and constant presidential candidate. Giuliani touting his hero status on TV at every turn. THAT IS WHAT IS CALLED NAME RECOGNITION. I still run into people who have never heard about Romney in California!

Never forget: Huckabee doesn't even think twice about collecting gold on Sundays to fill his secular coffers. By their fruits.....

Vic Lundquist: Well, of course that is what the liberal news media keep bringing up about Huck being a Baptist minister. He only had 10 1/2 yrs as Governor of Ak. since being a pastor. Obama has had only 2 yrs as a senator. What experience did Bill have before he became president ? Only long enough - that eventually Huck had to come in and clean up that Arkansas mess. Mike found it with a 200 million dollar deficit and left it with an 850 million dollar surplus. He improved the education system, highways, etc. All of this with approximately 90% democratic opposition - but they still elected him for another term. Now at this time whether these democrats support him for the presidency - I do not know. But I have seen the website where one after another of them speak about all the good things Mike has done for the state. ----- Mike has never defeated himself -- as of today he is 2nd in delegate count to Romney. Also running in first place in southern states. It is not over - oh, yes - if you want to listen and believe the political pundits - they don't give much hope to the man from Hope, Ark. The SC race was so close with McCain and if it had of not been for the spoiler Fred Thompson - staying in the race just long enough to take votes from Huckabee - while Fred was only running 4th and 5th in every state in delegate count thus far. Those pundits also said that Mike would have never won the Iowa primary either. What I see in Mike - integrity - honesty - wisdom - communicator - humor. He is a man of the people - poor upbringing. A real christian and Yes - Shame on some of those evangelicals that haven't backed him. But Mike is drawing people from all walks of life -- when they visit his website mikehuckabee.com and read about him, they become convinced. They are die-hard supporters. Oh, yes - it would make it a lot easier if one could buy the election and had all the Romney millions. (Sorry but Mitt doesn't seem genuine to me - lots of flip-flops and deception) The media sure doesn't want to investigate the "Whisperer" on the last debate. It is all over the Internet and on my tape recorder. They seem to give Mitt a free ride as I believe that they see him as the weakest candidate against the democrats. Yes, Huckabee or McCain are able to beat any democratic candidate. Preferably Mike. Sorry - I didn't mean to get this wound up.

Jill: Huck has already defeated Huck. Proof? He barely receives 1/3 of all evangelicals votes and he cannot get more than 10% of all non-evangelical votes. Regardless of his rhetoric, the perception of Americans is that he is running for Pastor in Chief. Proof? He is a politician running for secular office, giving sermons for money on Sundays; money that goes right into his political coffers.

BTW, Bill's tactics backfired. Almost all the black vote went to Obama and the majority of the white vote went to Edwards yesterday.

Bill Clinton's comment that McCain and Hillary are "very close".
Sounds like Bill is playing dirty politics again. He wants the republicans to vote for Romney as they feel he is the one that they can really defeat in November. That may be the case. So you have to get inside the Clinton machine and into their twisted way of saying and doing things. They are pro's at this - so do not be fooled....... Wake-up!
They will not be able to defeat Mike Huckabee - go Huck!!

A McCAIN NOMINATION REPRESENTS THE END of the democratic process. If we have no competition or disagreements between the reining candidates, we might as well have a monarchy.

There is no choice, no difference with a McCain v. Hillary election.

In fact, because on conservatives understand this, they will stay home and not vote. Hillary will win by default.

Put another way: a nomination for McCain means President Clinton 2008.

Yeah - just keep thinking about how much Hillary likes McCain - then if she gets the nomination - and he gets the nomination - you will be able to count on your fingers how long it takes before they start unloading on him.

Same deal with the MSM. They all love McCain - but if he gets the GOP nomination - then all hell will break loose and they'll unload on him.

And poor McCain will be wondering "what the heck happened? I thought these people were my friends???"

The real issue is what action star will endorse Romney...
Who do we have left?
Jackie Chan
Arnold Schwarzenegger

If Arnold wasn't such a liberal republican he'd be the best guy to Terminate rocky and the texas ranger. Just like Romney, Nothing can stop the Terminator...

This Youtube video from CNN reminding us of the "facts' of the McCain amnesty bill must be circulated throughout Florida and the nation. This is not 'negative' adverstising, simply that facts as seen by CNN. Everyone should email this to every Republican they know in the State of Florida and elsewhere.
