I wonder why he did not do more to find the MIA's. There was a movie posted on this site regarding that issue. I just feel like McCain has something he is hiding. I hear that Ross Perot endorsed Romney. I wonder what he thinks of McCain. I guess McCain does not make people feel guilty because he is 'real'. I don't like McCain because I don't think he is inspiring. We need someone who can inspire Americans to be better,work harder and help us believe and be optimistic about our future. There are others who have done this (survived the 60's unscathed), but we are regarded with disbelief when confronted by our contemporaries (did you inhale? No sir, never even tried it). We all want to hold our elected officials to a higher standard, why should we fear one that is successful? This is the kind of example we all need, in the White House. Governor Romney for President. I thought you guys were being too hard on him until the rubber hit the road, people started voting, and the bias from every journalist came out far more strongly. I tend to think he's just so for McCain and puts down his strongest opponent. I don't know. I've wondered something today to the question everyone asks, supporter or outsider looking in, why the hatred for such a decent, good man? I noticed it even with a family member who suddenly had a problem with too rich, intelligent, and perfect and because it was so out of character for her, it really made me ponder it. A theory, besides the issues that goad liberals, is that Romney is a Baby-boomer and lived a very different lifestyle and went through very different experiences than the average Baby-boomer. When they were going through the sexual revolution, having 1 or 2 children if any at all, putting them in daycare, divorcing, etc., Romney's family life resembled their parent's life more. My family member thought Clinton was sleazy, still does, and admired the "good" George H.W. Bush. I think having someone of "their" generation who didn't live such a messy and oftentimes sad life, inspires jealousy. bigmo,
