That’s It, Huckabee “IS” God, How Could We Have Missed It?
From Irregular Times - News Unfit for Print.
You know how Authors of books have book signings to give them greater exposure? Well, Mike Huckabee thinks that he is God himself, given that he is now autographing Holy Bibles. If you need proof look at the following picture:

Have you ever seen anything like this before? Even when I was a kid growing up in Michigan, and my Uncle was a Minister of the local Wesleyan church and I was “saved” I was given a bible that had a to: from: page in the front of it, but there was never a signature of the local Pastor. Quite frankly I’ve seen plenty of family member’s bibles, and I’ve never seen their’s signed by people either. What I’m trying to say here, is that even the most ardent evangelicals don’t do this sort of thing. Mr. Huckabee is on the fringes of even that group. All you can say is that he’s definitely a prideful, conceited, arrogant person. How he could do this with good conscience is beyond my understanding. This coupled with his previous comments should wake people up and realize that he is the person that we should go out of our way to not vote for. Citizens of South Carolina, Nevada, Florida and beyond should see this man for who he is, a politician trying to form a theocratic Government, not a democratic one. Be-Aware, Beware, Be-Aware!

I still want to know how he justified purchasing panty hose with campaign funds. And what size.

Left a similar message on a different thread. Reflecting ……
Voting here today (South Carolina). Doesn’t look good. Two moderate Democrats who say they are Republicans on the ballot, one loon, one sometimes engaged conservative, and one hope for the nation. Too many people in South Carolina who can be sold without thinking. Guess that reflects much of the country. At least the welfare whores know why they vote for liberals.
Disappointed but not depressed ….. yet. - P

Huckabee has totally sold out above and beyond to secure the evangelical vote. He is looking to duplicate his success in IA, but is finding in order to attract that same type of enthusiasm he must go further and further in the religious/pastoral rhetoric category to do it. Its unprecedented and I don’t think Huckabee’s campaign is credible for a general election bid. The GOP should take note of this. Frankly I don’t believe Huckabee is in this to win the nomination, but to be foil to Romney and Thompson to prevent them from winning against either Giuliani or McCain. In either case it seems Huckabee has a slot on the presidential ticket for either McCain or Giuliani and given his relative youth compared to the rest of the field can wait to become president later.

I think Huck’s a fraud, but even so, it would be hard to turn down a Bible Toting fan who clamored for you to sign their Bible. He should have at least felt very uncomfortable about it.

I don’t know, Ann. Maybe you should give the Huckster a break. Chances are some parents forced their kid who didn’t know any better to go up and ask him for an autograph on his Bible. I doubt Huckabee had any pretensions in signing the book.

Huckabee - the ultimate Flim-Flam Man.
He will stop at nothing in order to promote his slimey self.
