I read a Rasmussen Report this morning that commented on how massive the popular opposition was to this bill (78% opposed) but that it was "breathtaking" to see how close the bill actually came to passing in light of a determined minority of Senate "leaders" to push the bill thru, in defiance of their voters.

I feel more than ever that we need to stay involved in the political process and to insist that our elected leaders follow the wishes of the electorate. We proved once more that we get the kind of politicians that we deserve. IMHO, every Senator that voted for this bill needs to be shown the door and the Senators that stayed faithful to the will of the people and to the Constitution need to be rewarded by being returned to office.

In closing, I want to thank MR and Team Romney for their principled opposition to this bill. I can forsee another major upward move in the polls for MR as a result of his leadership to stop this bill. GO, MITT, GO!
