Rudy Giulianin misses the point on immigration, and in so doing he hurts immigration with his “pro immigrant” efforts. Illegal immigration seriously hinders legal immigration. If our government were not using time and resources, to provide services for millions of illegal aliens it could use those resources on the legal ones. Instead our country provides for those here illegaly and tells those patiently waiting for citizenship that they have to wait even longer.

It will not happen but if we deported all the illegal immigrants that we could find, there would be enough space cleared in our country that we could probably grant citizenship to all the people on the waiting list that qualify for it.

Support of an incorrect concept of immigration hurts real immigration.
